Yeah, I was gonna credit Flo Rida (like I do to most songs - whether I dislike their imput or not [see Beyoncé 'Ego']), but it's probably going to get #1 for me soon aswell, and I agree with the reasons you stated. :heehee:

Yeah, it was alright from that rip, but then they started the whole song again and I'm like "WTF "... Alesha's chorus sounded good though. :D

They're alright, but I wouldn't chart any of them... especially when I preferred the B-side of 'Katy On A Mission' ('Louder') to the actual A-side! :drama:

Surely it can't dethrone Queen Cheryl for you? :o See I did credit him on Bad Boys because I liked his input on that but his Higher input is utter crap.

I know exactly what you mean, I guess they do that to stop people ripping it, but how's that going to stop anyway when people can just edit things with Audacity etc...

RICHARD! I forgot to comment again :( You must beat me in future to assure I do it.

I've liked every Sats single too but Work only made #22 or something in my chart so they'll never have a perfect top ten record for me - although neither did GA once Wake Me Up peaked at #11 for me!

I thought you hated Forever Is Over! :(

I thought you hated Forever Is Over! :(

Ha, you're right, that charted at #27 for me I think, and I was being over generous! So they've had two singles miss my top ten already :drama: I don't hate it though, I just think it's average, it's still a 5 or 6/10, I just find it very b-side-ish, and considering they've had some fantastic b-sides, I found it sadly ironic :( Clearly I haven't 'loved' all of their singles then

Hmm, I'm not sure, yet. 'Promise This' will probably have a long run at #1, maybe until it's officially released, then The Saturdays can have 1 or 2 weeks. :kink: And 'Bad Boys' originally featured Flo. :P But yeah, his verse is okay on that. :)

Yeah. Not that I use Audicity, but do they really think people are so stupid? I think it just insulted the listeners that wanted to hear the song though.

Of course :heehee: It did, but there was also a solo version which Heart played where he didn't feature, and I could have just as easily charted that - and would have done if I didn't think much of his inclusion :P

I definitely agree, they don't do all this nonsense over proper 8.15am type big deal premieres so why treat fans of 1Xtra in this way, really irritating...

Hey rich. Thought i'd comment something this week. Been without my laptop, my chargers fooked and it has to be held in a random position for it to charge :drama: so i'm on my phone lol.

Really close top 6, but i'm glad the song of the year finally made it  I think Nadine's song is boring me already. Whilst Cheryl's continues to grow. Will do a proper comment soon once my laptops got full charge again lol

Hey, my comments for this week:

1. The Saturdays - Higher (15) (CR-10-8-5-8-11-15-1) Wow, I'm very surprised to see this made your number one, especially considering Up and all the others couldn't do it!

15. Joe McElderry - Ambitions (NEW) (CR-15) The Donkeyboy version was far better. I find this very lazy for the lead single off the album - fair enough if this had been the X Factor "winner's song", but I think this is very shoddy when compared to Bleeding Love and Bad Boys

18. Ola - Y.T.G. (NEW) (CR-18) Sounds pretty amazing from the video. Reminds me of something but I can't think what

27. Emma's Imagination - Focus (NEW) (CR-27) Hmm, a little bit dull. Not sure if she'll have a lasting career

38. Jessie J - Price Tag (NEW) (CR-38) What's this?

41. Scala & Kolacny Brothers - Creep (NEW) (CR-41) Slightly creepy indeed :heehee: It's quite good, but the original will probably never be topped imo

46. Monrose - This Is Me (NEW) (CR-46) Good to see this enter, this is my favourite single of theirs to date :D

50. Ellie Goulding - Lights (NEW) (CR-50) I haven't heard this yet, is it as good as the stuff from the album?

Thanks Jonjo! Oh dear, I had that problem with my charger a few months ago and just ordered a new one  And then the laptop broke altogether a few weeks later :drama:

Yeah Higher is fantastic  but indeed, the top 6 was painfully close!

Merci Ghosty!

1. I know! Up only didn't get to #1 because it was held off by GA's The Promise, which I would count as one of my top 50 songs of all time - it just came out at an unlucky time, it's still easily my favourite Sats song. Higher is fantastic though

15. I can see what you mean, although I do really like this. I guess less effort is put into the boy winner's lead singles than the girls

18. It's a great song, I recommend the album! The first half in particular is truly fantastic :D It reminds me of something also but I can't put my finger on it either :drama: let me know if you think what it is!

27. Yeah, she probably won't. It took me a few listens to get into this and will be out again by next week I should think

38. Not sure, heard it on Popjustice I think - it's decent, her voice is a bit strange though - she speaks like Lily Allen in one part of the song but sings nothing like her...

41. Yes it is! It's a brilliant song - the Radiohead original is easily their finest hour for me. I love all covers of it but this is particularly great.

46. And mine, it will be quite a bit higher next week. Again, it reminds me of something melody wise (and Medina production wise) but I can't think what

50. It's 8/10 right now, I can see why it was a bonus track originally though. I think it will be a grower though.

1. The Saturdays - Higher (15) (CR-10-8-5-8-11-15-1)

Great choice! Got the same position in my chart as well!

01 - Fair enough, The Promise is a pretty good tune, but I think it only peaked at number 8 on my chart  . Untouchable is by far my favourite song of theirs though  .

15 - It appears so  . They probably aren't expecting great things from Joe McElderry - I would not be surprised if this album is the only one he releases.

18 - I shall download it first before buying as he's a little bit hit and miss for me. Y.T.G. and Unstoppable are both fantastic though.

38 - Oh right, I'll keep and eye out for it.

41 - Street Spirit was pretty excellent too I thought.

46 - Can't say I've noticed any similarities in it myself apart from Medina obviously. It's come completely out of the blue though, I was about to write them off after a series of poor singles recently

50 - Hopefully so. I'm looking forward to hearing it anyway as the album was fantastic!

1. Untouchable only peaked at #12 for me and is their lowest charting single ever :drama: Only that and Wake Me Up (#11) missed my top ten :o The Promise was #1 for 6 weeks

15. I agree I think, this song might not even go to #1, but surely if Olly Murs can then Joe can with a much better song

18. I haven't bought it - only downloaded it. I'm severely lacking in funds these days, I won't be buying the new Ace of Base album either because of this - I just can't justify paying £14 for something I'm only half interested in at the moment :( Will probably get Jenny Berggren's album though as I love both of the singles from that so far!

41. Yeah, not too bad, and Karma Police too. Everything they've done since about 2000 has just been greeted with a  or  from me. All far too pretentious.

46. I'll have to keep thinking about that one  I barely ever even follow them as I've been unimpressed by them in the past mostly.

50. It was, although it's not in my top 20 of the year actually :o Probably about 22nd though, it's only just outside.

01 - Wake Me Up is one of my faves too :kink: Biology is my second favourite.

15 - I prefer the Olly Murs song myself, it is poorly recorded though.

18 - I'm the same financially, trying to save up a bit. I was going to buy the A1 album, but probably won't bother - it might get a UK release sometime anyway. I am however going to import the new Infernal album, really looking forward to that!

41 - Agreed, they're a little up themseleves now

46 - What You Don't Know, Hot Summer and Strike the Match were pretty decent tunes I thought.

50 - I would guess it's top 10 on mine, but I have no idea how my YTD charts are looking.

1. Naturally! We like the same artists but completely opposite songs, almost always  Biology is amazing though, I'll give you that

18. Do they have it out already? I hadn't noticed  Another to add to the xmas list I guess! I'm not bothered about the Infernal album, Love Is All was only 'good' for me...

46. Which one was their Eurovision attempt? I can't remember who they lost out to either.

50. I have a very clear YTD top 5 (Boyzone, Kylie, GaGa, Leddra, Lena), and then Elin Lanto and Diana Vickers are 6/7, everything else is wayyyyy behind those seven. Can't believe there's only 3 months left of the year :o

'Wake Me Up' is amazing. As is 'Untouchable'! Rich, you have poor taste in GA singles :kink: (we'll ignore the fact i like 'Walk This Way')

Haha, just because they peaked the lowest doesn't mean I think they were the worst - Untouchable had a very long chart run for its #12 peak! My least favourite GA single is indeed Walk This Way (which managed a #8 peak for me because I'm a loon let's face it ) - look at my current top 3 and see two GA members there! If I had to rank the singles it would go from best to worst, those above the line being AMAZING - I've put their peaks too but some of them were just bizarre.

18 - It's coming out soon I think. The singles have been interesting, but £18 is a lot to pay for an album that might not be that great. Love Is All isn't one of Infernal's best, but hopefully the album has more to offer.

46 - Hot Summer I think.... They would have lost out to Roger Cicero if I remember correctly.

50 - I know! The past 4 months have flown, and such a shame not very much has happened music wise in that time :(

18. Yeah definitely, no way am I paying £18 for it. If it gets a UK release I'll certainly buy it - I'd even appreciate it if they just whacked it on iTunes, but it never happens :(

46. Ah right. I remember the song. I wasn't a fan of Roger Cicero's song really but once again it was something completely different from Germany, as ever.

50. True, the last four months have been quite poor for music.
