The BBC and other news organisations have obituaries already written for prominent people or people who are expected to die soon - either because they are known to be terminally ill or they are very old. That means that if, to use your example, Madonna died suddenly, they would be able to broadcast tributes etc. shortly after the news was confirmed.

It went a bit wrong when Benny Hill died. One of the people shown paying tribute to him was Frankie Howerd. However, it was later announced that Howerd had died the day before Hill which made it perfectly obvious that the tribute had been recorded in advance.

Like has been said above, the video is probably a joke, but the BBC and other news organisations such as Sky and Fox have ready made obituaries for very famous people. In fact I saw a news article the other month stating in terms of news importance Bob Dylan is in the same category as Nelson Mandela, so I'd assume Madonna is in the category as well.

Probably you are right, cnn, fox, sky ecc... are used to prepare premature obituaries. Wikipedia say the same en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_premature_obituaries

But why is this on youtube? and there are other videos, maybe parts of the same video.

youtube.com/watch?v=RfXuQERW9As

youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5kMG4eSQI

In the first one, there is time and place of the death. And I think that is a hoax.

In the second one it´s seems that they don´t know nothing about what there is written, what does it means "if ready check file"?

It's some kind of weird hoax. I've never seen these people in my life, they're not BBC News readers and the sound quality is terrible. The scrolling text at the bottom of the screen is clearly from a text document off a computer. She is definitely not dead.

Actually if you look at the clock in the bottom-middle of the screen, 5 minutes passes in the time of the first video, which is 3 minutes long

Hey Tom, you are right, and I've also compared the format with oder bbc videos. bbc use 16/9 but in youtube is always in 4/3.

Probably it's a fake, but who made this kind of things?? the Lady Gaga fans?
