Mass outrage? Unfortunately I think a Max / Tanya reunion is what the writers believe we all want :( I think a Max/Tanya/Vanessa/Greg love quadrangle is rather inevitable.

Well trust, pretty much NOBODY wants a Max and Tan reunion amongst the fans. Yes they have great chemistry blah blah but the moment has passed now.

I always thought glenda wouldn't be in the show for a long time

Ricky's a weak character and is nothing without Bianca as someone said on the previous page. I wonder what they are gonna do with Carol as it's likely the kids will go with Ricky.

Oh and something else as well

When are they bringing back Lucy? With Peter gone and Jane going out the show for a few months, it seems like a good time to keep the Beale Family going.

At the minute there are zero plans to bring back Lucy played by Melissa or anybody else.
What's up with some of the different camera angles being used today? Side on shots of Masood/Yusuf, birds eye shot of Jay and Abi...
It's time for Tanya to go imo :( SHe was easily the best character in the show back in 2006/7, but the show has moved on without her, and since she's come back shes been incredibly unlikable.
I'd say she's far from unlikeable - she just hasn't DONE anything since her return bar snipe about Max. She hasn't yet been given a moment to shine again yet.

This is literally the best news I've heard all year. LOL JK

EastEnders fans will see Charlie Slater make a brief return to Albert Square later this year, Digital Spy can confirm.

Actor Derek Martin - who played the character for a decade - has recently been filming a two-episode guest stint with the BBC soap and viewers can expect to see Charlie back on screen in a few weeks' time.

Charlie left the Square at the beginning of this year after his daughter Kat (Jessie Wallace) blamed him for the loss of her newborn son Tommy. He had failed to properly supervise the baby while a party was being held at the Queen Vic on New Year's Eve, paving the way for Ronnie Branning (Samantha Womack) to secretly swap the child with her dead son James.

Although Kat later made peace with Charlie, he went away to live with daughter Lynne after deciding that it was best for him to leave Walford.

Speaking of Charlie's forthcoming return, an EastEnders source today told DS: "Although they've had their ups and downs, Kat deeply regrets pushing Charlie away. The pair have a tearful reunion and there won't be a dry eye in the house."

Kat, her husband Alfie and the rest of Walford's residents are currently unaware of Ronnie's terrible secret - still believing that Tommy suffered cot death. However, the Moons are expected to be reunited with their child in April.

Meanwhile, show bosses are keeping the door open for more future appearances from Charlie once his latest stint on the Square is over.

I presumed something like that would happen. When Kat finds out the truth about Tommy, she can't continue to hold a grudge against her dad, so it's not as pointless as I presumed it would be at first glance...
Looks like Glenda's on her way out already. Any think she'll learn Ronnie's secret beforehand?

The 'end' of the baby swap storyline has now been filmed, there are also pictures going around from the filming. It's also rumoured to happen the same day as Tanya and Greg's wedding.

I presumed something like that would happen. When Kat finds out the truth about Tommy, she can't continue to hold a grudge against her dad, so it's not as pointless as I presumed it would be at first glance...

Surely if anything she should hold more of a grudge? If it was a cot death, he couldn't have actually done anything there or not, but the fact he wasn't there allowed Ronnie to swap them and make her believe her baby was dead for 4 months?

I think she'll just be overjoyed to have her baby back and actually alive and all of her anger will be channelled into making sure Ronnie pays.

I can't believe Glenda has only two episodes left now. I really do hope she's back soon as has been hinted it because she's pretty much been the best character of the last six months and she's a really complex person. Yes, Glynis' acting style is camp but it totally suits the character and I thought she was actually really good when she was in tears on Ronnie's doorstep in the last episode.

The best scene in that ep though was Shirley giving Phil the opportunity to come clean about the Glenda affair. I always forget what an amazing character Shirley is.

In other news June Brown has signed a new contract putting her on £300,000 a year which makes her the second-highest earner on the show after Steve McFadden.

When Glenda said " Its Shirley I feel sorry for",and Shirley walks in and goes "Iam the last person you should feel sorry for" DOOF DOOF.

Tonights episode is going to be great wonder if she will marry Phil??

So looking forward to tonight's episode! And I'm sorry but Shirley's 'Phil's been dipping his liquorice in Glenda's sherbert' was absolutely fantastic. BEST thing said on that show in ages.

Also isn't Dot a bit of a bitch? :o I mean 'Eth is useless and all but still. And that Mr Bishop guy is creepy.

I'm looking forward to tonight but still feel down about Glenda-She's the first awful actress I'm gonna miss since Sam Mitchell left last time.

I'm pretty sure Phil and Shirley's wedding is on the same day as Prince William's is it not? So I'd assume from that that Shirley won't go through with it today.
