I'm just saying I found it confusing when I first joined. It's OK now I know how it works. But just thinking on new users logically I'd look under the genre for artist discussion. Especially when some artist only discussion topics are located there then others get whole forums. Having them all under one heading would be much tidier.

The difficulty with putting them under a specific genre is that it is not always easy to decide which one. I know there isn't a forum for them but are Hurts indie or pop? Putting them all together avoids that sort of debate.

I don't think people generally find it confusing - the genre forums are clearly general and the Artist Forums are for specific artists?
