I find it wonderful that I'm not indigenous! I happen to have a great grandfather who was Japanese. I know barely anybody who could claim that even up to their great-grandparents on both sides was fully English, let alone 300 years.

same, i think only family i have on my Dad's side are the only fully English people I know, well theres probaly some others but those are the only ones for sure and its not very often you find people who are fully english over those that arent. If we were all 100% English that would just be boring, being different is what makes us interesting. For the record, it's proven that mixed race people are on average healthier and more intelligent than more "ethnically pure" (ugh) people.

I have Dutch and Indian blood, so that's me with my bags packed aswell.

Why does it need to retain its physical identity - why is that such a good thing? You don't need a pure physical identity to have a cultural one - has everyone in Italian being Moorish changed their cultural identity?

 

Thousands of years of tradition, if something has been this way for thousands of years it should not change IMHO

One of their key policies is opposition to mixed marriages. You have made it perfectly clear that you are with them on that.

 

Not every marriage has to have kids, many if not most of my married friends don't have kids

In some ways immigration is a good thing, without immigration we would not have curry houses, we would not have pizza parlours, we would not have the wonderful chinatown in Soho, we would not have stuff like the Notting Hill carnival, all those kind of things are positives to come out of multi culturalism and the rise of ethnic stock in this country.

Indeed I did bang a Jamaican once but as with every sexual intercourse I ever had (bar 1) I was suitably protected, of course it is not beyond the realms of possibility that the condom split and I have a mixed race kid out there somewhere but no one has ever come forward asking for child support so I assume that not the case

Who said anything about "out" ? I have nowhere called for any deportations nor would I, as I said earlier in the thread multi culturalism has bought many benefits and I am not against that continuing, I just believe the doors should be closed to NEW immigrants except those that meet a very strict employment/financial criteria

I have nowhere said that anyone is not welcome in this country just that only those that have 300 years of English direct parentage (parents, grand parents, great grand parents, great great grand parents etc) can truly call themselves indigenous, if it was about staying in the country even I would be out as I have Russian/Polish/Ukranian and Lithuanian blood in me, infact one whole side of my family comes from immigrant stock and I have no intention of packing my bags ;)

 

It is not about living in this country, my guess is that maybe 500,000 to 1million in this country could truly call themselves indigenous

If I had my way we would not allow any more EU immigrants either unless they meet a very strict criteria, I am not into all this "British jobs for British workers" crap, it is up to British workers to apply harder and sell themselves better to employers as opposed to blaming immigrants but it is not good for this country's identity to allow the floodgates to immigrants from wherever they may be.

If I had called for the genocide of all blacks or asians or whatever then absolutely, warning or ban would be justified but I didn't, I have not made a single post that I deem to be racist, controversial/thought provoking ? yes absolutely, racist ? no

 

This is by far the most politically correct board that I have ever come across in the 11 years that I have been using the net and it is getting quite ridiculous tbh, people screaming and crying "racist" all the time even people my age who should know better, is it any wonder I make about 30 posts on DS now for every 1 that I do here, on DS I don't get the PC brigade crying racist left right and centre, there is mature debate of the issues as opposed to slogans and catcphrases and soundbites of "racist" every time there is anything remotely controversial posted on here.
