Give It Sum is 10 years old.

TEN years ago Robbie Williams was at the height of his career.

With a string of No1s under his belt and a clutch of Brit awards, he was the golden boy of pop. But the superstar vowed not to forget his modest beginnings.

With the help of charity Comic Relief, he established the Give It Sum fund in his home town of Stoke-on-Trent hoping it would help change the lives of people in the area.

A decade on and some £5million has been invested in projects. To mark Give It Sum's tenth birthday, Robbie returned home to see how the fund is helping locals.

Here, writing exclusively for The Sun, he tells what happened when he visited a handful of the schemes.

Cheers - it is great to see this reported. I have always admired the huge amount of charity work Rob has done over the years but also how he rarely makes it public likes most celebs do in order to improve his image. It is often there for people to see (generally on the Sentinal's website) but hardly ever in mainstream media to an extent where I doubt most people realize the amount of work he has done over the years.
