November 3, 201014 yr My, this has deviated from Jeremy Hunt ever so slightly! http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/grin.gif Was Shelli SERIOUSLY flirting with Grimly?! "Kissy kissy"?
November 3, 201014 yr But Labour were a sinking ship. Lets give Conservative 10 years and see if they can do anything good. They had 18 years before Labour got in and f***ed up the country totally.... -_-
November 3, 201014 yr My, this has deviated from Jeremy Hunt ever so slightly! http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/grin.gif Was Shelli SERIOUSLY flirting with Grimly?! "Kissy kissy"? I seriously hope not..... @ Shelli - seriously though, if you don't even know who the Labour leader is, why on earth are you posting in this Forum...? I should probably point out too, that we don't technically HAVE a Conservative Govt, we have a Coalition government.... I realise I should probably be a bit careful about using such confusing terminology, I probably am expecting you to run before you can actually crawl.....
November 3, 201014 yr I dont think they did. Errr, okay, the destruction of the Mining Industry, Ship-building, Steel, Manufacturing, the North/South divide, The Falklands, Thatcher being up Ronnie Reagan's arse, Greenham Common, Clause 28, The Criminal Justice Act, the recession in the early 80s, Black Wednesday, the run on the pound..... You seriously need to look up this sh"t before coming in on this forum and commenting on Labour's shortcomings....
November 3, 201014 yr But Grimly, you are clearly biased against Conservative for some strange reason so cannot take your opinions seriously. What did Labour do in the last 10 years that was so magnificent? Nothing End of day, the parties are all the same and I was bored of Labour so it was time for a change and we got it :cheer:
November 3, 201014 yr I thought the Labour president was Gordon Brown? Bit behind in the times Shell, he lost an election, so he got booted out.... There was this whole big leadership contest thing going on.. I mean, easy to miss it, I suppose, it was only on the news every other day for about a month..... :P

I don't know how old Grimly is but I'm guessing he didn't have fully formed political ideologies prior to 1979 when Th*tcher came into power...
November 3, 201014 yr But Grimly, you are clearly biased against Conservative for some strange reason so cannot take your opinions seriously. What did Labour do in the last 10 years that was so magnificent? Nothing I think you'll find I've been incredibly critical of Nu Labor, just ask around... I think Blair is a fukkin' war criminal who should be hanging on a gallows alongside Saddam and Bush.... And I dont exactly think much of the "minimal wage" either... £5.85 is absolute fukkin' peanuts in London and the South East.... I'm biased against the Tories because I'm old enough to know what Thatcher and Major did to this country, particularly in Scotland and the North.... And frankly, I can see history repeating itself with reference to these cuts which will affect the North, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland far more detrimentally than the South of England....

Every party deserves a second chance surely?
November 3, 201014 yr Look Im not into politics that much and I only posted to learn some stuff but its getting too heavy for me now :(

I don't know how old Grimly is but I'm guessing he didn't have fully formed political ideologies prior to 1979 when Th*tcher came into power... I'm 38, and my fully formed political ideologies came from seeing members of my family and my friends families put on the scrapheap by that bitch in blue.. Most of the people she put on the dole never, ever worked again because they destroyed one industry that an area relied upon and didn't do jack sh"t to make sure there was something there to replace it, so not only did the particular Industry itself die, but all the other ancillary businesses that were tied into that and the local economy suffered too. There was something like 15% unemployment in some areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the North and Wales.... And then in 1987, the fukkin' bitch gave us the Poll Tax, and used Scotland as the testing ground..... <_<
November 3, 201014 yr Look Im not into politics that much and I only posted to learn some stuff but its getting too heavy for me now :( Well, "getting heavy" about politics is something we kind of do in this forum Shelli, what with it being a POLITICAL forum and all....
November 3, 201014 yr Unfortunately Shelli's opinion and the lack of reasons behind them represents that of about 90% of everyone i know, not exaggerating.
November 3, 201014 yr Unfortunately Shelli's opinion and the lack of reasons behind them represents that of about 90% of everyone i know, not exaggerating. This is the whole problem with this country.. We've supposedly got this "information age" now, but frankly I reckon we're actually more ignorant than we were 50/60 years ago as a nation....
November 3, 201014 yr God isn't Perspectives just a great home of quality debate these days  This topic actually hurts my head.
