Adam Lambert claims that Madonna is ‘being p****d on’ because of her music, and not for her sexual antics.

Rather, the 37-year-old believes the Queen of Pop is suffering a setback due to her recent musical output. The 60-year-old pop icon released her latest studio album, Madame X, this month, but Adam believes the material on the album ‘doesn’t fall quite in line with her legacy’.

Speaking to The Independent, Adam said: ‘I’m a long-time Madonna fan for sure – but here’s my question: does she? Or is she getting a pushback because of the music she’s making? ‘I love that she reinvents herself. I love her, and I think she’s brilliant. And I do think she’s p****d upon a bit, but I don’t think it’s because she’s a strong sexual woman. ‘I think it’s because she’s making the music of 2019 that doesn’t fall quite in line with her legacy, perhaps.’

But Adam still has love for the singer, later adding: ‘But I have to give it to her that she’s going for it, and she’s ballsy and she’s confident.’ The singer is speaking from the heart as a true fan, but he has also revealed that he would never make music to please anybody.

It's been exactly 10 years since that Brit Awards performance!

Adam saying that made me angry. He obviously has no idea about the album and how it was made.

Yeah it's annoying me too. I don't think he meant any malice - as he says, he is a fan of hers - but he's missed the point completely. Madonna constantly gets criticism on the way she looks and acts and it drowns out the music. She's released the best album in over a decade and it's still about her age and sexuality.

C’mon Everybody, 325 Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238

Will be interesting to hear any Madonna stories they share! I wish they still performed with Madonna now.

Finally uploaded properly with decent audio quality! :cheer: You can actually hear Christina singing during Hollywood.

Also, those are absolutely the best audience reactions. Justin's isn't even my favourite.

That's so random! 'Spanish Eyes' is one of my favourite Madonna ballads and I adore that raspy vocal in the vocal.

'Vogue' before we knew it! :o

Never heard this before but yes you can certainly here the beginnings of the Vogue production in it
