Oh lord :/ Eminem does it all the time in his songs. He mentioned Ted Bundy in one of the tracks from Relapse I dont see what the big deal is.
...well with Eminem you get what is set on the tin. I don't exactly expect this from a girl who sings about partying, alcohol, woohoo. Also, Ted Bundy's crimes were awful, but this guy's crimes were just absolutely horror film-tastic :puke2:

...she mentions a criminal who died in 1994, Jeffery Dahmer. He was a gay killer who dismembered his victims, and afterwards would attempt to make zombies of them pouring acid in their brains :puke2: It's been said he practiced necrophilia and cannibalism :puke2:

I've gone off it as well now  She could've left that line out... quite disrespectful to the families of the victims IMO

 Thanks.

Im sure she doesn't mean to offend anyone... :)

Clearly your not familiar with Kesha's unreleased stuff as Sleazy/Cannibal was the type of music she was making pre-Animal. I just think that your all going incredibly OTT and probably belong in the same category as the people who think listening to Rock music will open the gates of hell and release satan.

Neh, I'm sure she didn't ^_^ ...she could've sang something like Hannibal Lecter instead or whatever to like attempt softening it up :P

What a strong contrast to "We R who we R"

Well yes I'm not exactly an expert on what people used to make before they had hit records... that's why some stuff is said to be 'unreleased' :P ...and believe me I have no problems with the song at all, she can do whatever she wants, all good 'fun' really. I just can't listen to this song in the same light anymore now

I prefer my stuff to be a bit more happy... we all have different preferences. I will just be honest and say a song with a message like "We R who we R" is more to my taste. Nothing more, nothing less.

No I'm talking about the people who used to like the song but now don't because it references a famous killer

I am entitled to an opinion! Gosh, you're acting as if I personally insulted her and tried to grab her by her hair ^_^
...and I respect that opinion :) Don't get me wrong.
When is "we r who we r" released in the uk?
When is "we r who we r" released in the uk?

Well there isn't any release date confirmed for it so far, but 'Cannibal' is getting released on 22nd November, so I guess it'll have to be cherry-picked from the EP.

Since when were Digital Spy reliable? I want to believe them of course...

Cannibal itself getting released in UK seems very unlikely seeing as though similar albums by Lady Gaga & Usher only had the full album re-released.

It's still not on any sites for pre-order, 12 days away? The single isn't on radio yet as far as I know...

Are you referring to me? Because Ke$ha is still my favourite artist and Cannibal is good :) That's what my initial reaction was to it, I think your putting it into very blunt terms. I don't dislike the songs because it has a line that says 'Jeffery Dahmer' in it. It's because now that youtubers have highlight that fact that it references him and some of the lyrics refer to his crimes, which whenever I listen to the song, makes me think of them. :puke:

I don't really listen to Eminem's songs that much and I can't understand what he's on about half the time.

One of Capital FM' Radio hosts tweeted saying that Ke$ha's new single was coming up.

If I hadn't read about Jeffery Dahmer here than I would never have made the connection and I don't think most of Kesha's fans will either

so what is the problem?

I can't wait for this EP now, is it gonna be available on its own here? I bought the original Animal album in HMV recently, amazing album BTW.

I didn't know about it until my own curiousity overthrew me? I always know I shouldn't read the youtube comments but I always do! :arrr:

I'm trying to look at the song in a 'clueless' way so I can cure myself.

Tbh, Cannibal for me seems to be about sexual desire. Not actual cannibalism.
