#59 on itunes now, looks like better than today will be Kylie;sweirdest chart performance yet, 67 x 40, 60 ish!, 15, type run/

Its now 61 on itunes. I think it could miss the top40 completely and be her lowest ever chart position for a single.

Erm, read above, it already charted top 40 :P Anyway it's out on physical next week, I'm sure it will go at least top 30.
She will also be on The One Show tomorrow and has the Royal Variety too. It should get Top 30 and perhaps Top 20
I think its still on course to reach one of her lowest chart positions unless there is a massive turnaround in its fortunes. downloads tend to account for 99% of all sales these days and although kylie sells well physically, even with good physical sales it will still struggle when its only no60 odd on itunes.
It looks likely to chart somewhere the same as some kindf of bliss #22 but hopefully it can scrape into the top 20.

It's up to #51 on iTunes now, I assume the One Show did that. :D

It's a shame she's actually getting some really decent promotional slots in for this single, but Radio 1 have refused to playlist it and the like. :(

Anyone up for a Radio 1 massacre?? :P

I have a baseball bat collecting dust under my bed :heehee:

Tbf, BTT is hardly the sort of song Radio 1 would play now, is it? Also GOMW, although it got top 15, flopped pretty bad. Did they playlist 'The One', then? :o

Radio 1 don't base their playlist on the songs itself, ever. If they were unhappy with the chart performance of 'Get Outta My Way' they'd have removed it quickly but they kept it on for a couple of extra weeks afterwards.

They did playlist 'The One' but that was a totally botched release, no physical release which is the only hope of sales she can get for a 4th single and they released a cheap video for it two weeks after it dropped out of the top 75.

I suppose one of the problems with better than today is that although the promotion has been good it has been very sparse over a lengthy enoug hperiod of time, thus hencing Kylie;s weirdest chart performance to date. Kylie at worst needs about 20,000 sales to even scrape the top 20 but to guarantee a top 20 hit she would realistically need 25,000 sales, granted at most the phyisical formats will sell around 10,000 but im not as confident the download will manage 15,000, so realistically #25 could p[ossibly be its peak. Although it will be her lowest peak for a full offical single it certainly wont be her worst selling which gives some comfort.
23 place drop. Not good. I'm just hoping for top40 now tbh. If it was released physically to coincide with the iTunes peak then top20 but that time has now passed I reckon. Of course they had no real way of knowing when the iTunes peak would be.
Kylie will have phyisical sales alone of around 10,000 which will guarantee top 40, i have no dount of it making top 30 its just a case of how much higher it can go within the top 30 or with a stroke of luck scrape top 20.
