November 10, 201014 yr glee has really been upsetting me lately with poor musical choices (lol still on that) and getting tackier / offensive, but this was an incredibly poignant and well done episode. spot on. i'll be tuning in next week. plus A VERY POTTER MUSICAL omg (bar the 'courage' thing at the end in the locker which was kinda like oh lol)
November 10, 201014 yr Wow. What a fantastic episode, I was really blind-sided by the bully being gay, I didn't expect it at all. Looking back on it now, it's kind of obvious, but it's been very well done.
November 10, 201014 yr A brilliant episode, maybe my 3rd favourite of the season behind the first two episodes. I really liked the song choices, and it wasn't full of songs like some episodes are, so that was good. The scenes with the kids making out, and picturing the coach were great  And the bully kissing Kurt was really shocking, but I don't think I was that keen on it. I really want Kurt to move schools now, but I don't know how it would really work without cutting down on his character quite a bit. Edited November 10, 201014 yr by Jack Pilgrim
November 11, 201014 yr Woop woop. Better than the blond Bieb-a-like. Anyway, GREAT episode, and I agree the defining moment was the bully kissing Kurt, wish that had happened to me at school. IMHO the best episode musically for AGES. The only performance I didn't like much was the girl's Start Me Up/Livin' On A Prayer mashup.
November 11, 201014 yr I dunno really, it was slightly annoying for me. But I loved the boy's mashup
November 11, 201014 yr I agree, The Girls' mash-up was amazing! We never found out who won though! :( It was a really strong episode overall, and one of the season's best yet! Great storyline development, songs and jokes. :D
November 12, 201014 yr ^OMG that was the best performance of the episode! <3 I agree. The boy's mash-up was a bit boring, as per. -_-
November 12, 201014 yr Author After a bit of thinking i got to a conclusion that this episode is so unrealistic it HURTS. Yeah 'you will regret that you never confronted the bullies'. Cheesy as f***. *cringes* Shocking episode, yes, but I'd say one of the worst storylines of the season.
November 23, 201014 yr Finally got round to catching up and watching the last two episodes. This was a really good episode. The song choices and storylines were executed very well. I knew about the bully as I had foolishly read the spoilers (I need to stop doing that!!) but it was quite tense even knowing the outcome. Best performance of this episode though, for me was 'Teenage Dream'. Oh and yet again, the boys >>>>> the girls mashup.
February 14, 201114 yr Blimey, I'm watching at UK pace and Teenage Dream is by far my favourite song of this series so far. I don't rate fully acapella music usually but that really worked. And I hadn't read this thread or any spoilers so I echo that the kiss was completely unexpected :o
February 14, 201114 yr I seriously don't get the love for TD! :o In fact, none of the music tonight was that good... :( Brilliant ep plotwise though, I especially loved the development of Artie/Puck! :)
February 14, 201114 yr I don't get the TD love either, but I put that down to not being a fan of the original. Prefer the cover of 'Hey Soul Sister' that they do in episode 9. So when the girls are preparing, and they question why Rachel is being bossy as usual and she says the task is to be the opposite of normal, but then when they start to perform she comes in and takes the lead straight away, it's like 'oh, so that's not what she normally does'? -_-
February 15, 201114 yr Kurt said he had never been kissed before. Wasn't there an episode in season one where Britanny was snogging the pants off of him?
February 15, 201114 yr I seriously don't get the love for TD! In fact, none of the music tonight was that good. Brilliant ep plotwise though, I especially loved the development of Artie/Puck! Kind of agree with all this, except the version of One Love was good. Don't really see the point of the medleys, none of the songs really go well together But at last we're seeing some plot developments. I was close to giving this up to be honest, but after this I will stick with it for a little longer. -- Richard
February 15, 201114 yr Kurt said he had never been kissed before. Wasn't there an episode in season one where Britanny was snogging the pants off of him? I think he meant 'properly', by a boy. I forgot how much I liked this episode! Very strong with the storyline and song choices!
