In the past we've had certain shock exits on X factor that have left people in disbelief...like when Laura White left against Ruth Lorenzo (Ruth was amazing :wub: and she blew Laura away in the sing off, but I don't think many people believed she could beat Laura before that) and last year when Lucie left against Jedward (I still can't figure that one out)

 

Which of this years contestants do you think will be a shock exit? Which contestant do you think doesn't have as much support as we're lead to believe?

 

Overall I think the biggest shock would probably be 1 Direction, but that seems very unlikely.

 

It's probably more likely to be Cher......or Rebecca (it better not be though :cry:)

I'd say TreyC but I dunno if thatd be a huge shock.

I dont think Treyc would really count as a shock exit. In terms of vocal talent perhaps as she clearly deserves to go very far and is one of the strongest there, but I doubt she's getting a great deal of votes at this point since she's one of the lowest in terms of her profile.

I take it no one would be all that suprised to see Paije, Belle Amie, Wagner or Katie eliminated soon either.

 

It really depends on who's coming mid-table in the voting at the moment, because I think Lucie was actually doing fairly well until one weak songs choice ruined it all. And at that, Rebecca could definatly be a contender for a suprising early exit. As could Aiden and Mary really. And who knows, how safe would Matt really be if performing in the one of the opening slots and gave an average performance to a bad song choice?

 

Does this mean I've just predicted Wand Erection and the Antichrist/Cher as the final 2? OH GOD.

Unfortunately I think Rebecca will be the shock exist of this year. :(

 

I hope she goes as far as she can in the competition though, I'm listening to her performances on repeat already.

I was just thinking....it'll be hardly much of a shock if we're trying to predict it here is it? :P

Its usually someone who is a good singer (and female :P) - but the hype has faded, they've given performances not up to standard and are a boring character

 

so it definitely seems to be pointing towards Rebecca and Mary atm- TreyC I dont think would be a shock- what will be shocking is if shes in the final 6 tbh :lol: or it could be Aiden

 

One Direction, Cher and Matt are too popular atm, but we'll see what happens over time- the ones I havent mentioned wouldnt really be seen as shocks

The only 'shock' exit I can imagine is if Aiden was to finish seventh or so. Perhaps Rebecca... for some reason it's hard to gauge the public support for her. I think most of it must be from Liverpool because she's really very boring.

Is there really any buzz surrounding Aiden? :unsure: Talking to people at work, the most popular act is Matt followed by Mary then Rebecca.

 

For me, the shock exit would be Cher coming fifth when it's all down to the public vote. Seriosuly, I don't know anyone outside of Buzzjack who adores Cher. Everyone at work think she's $h!t. :lol: (you have to consider people over 30 years old also watch The X Factor, and vote, who won't exactly get Cher). Teenage girls will be too busy voting for One Dimension to be voting for Cher.

The shock exit will quite possibly be Treyc leaving the competition as 7th or 8th... I think... Aiden will make it to 4th... possibly another shocker to be One Direction out as... 6th or something?

People really think Aiden will be there until the final 5? :o Well, I don't see it happening myself but stranger things have happened.*

Well they all seem to drool over him (why, I do not know). The 'hype' is similar to Danyl's from what I have noticed, that brings my prediction to 4th :P

I wouldn't say Laura White's exit was a shock. Her first live performance of Fallin' was just incredible. One of my all time X Factor faves, but I really disliked everything she did after, there was no improvement... she peaked on weak one!

Well I know there was no real hype over either of them, but my favourites have been Lucie & Diana, and especially the certain acts that qualified over them... it's quite obscene to me :unsure: This has made me take this contest with a pinch this year, which is probably the only way you can actually enjoy it :lol:

Yeah I really don't think the public vote is a proper representation of who's great and will go on to be successful. It's just people voting for what they like at the time on a whim.

 

It's most obvious last year when Rachel Adedeji topped the votes and was voted out in the next week. The public vote doesn't really take potential into consideration.
