Yes, he was good, but best cover ever?! No.

I was sitting moaning about how overrated Matt is when this came on and he killed it tbf. I still don't think he's anything special, but this is a very good version of the song.

Slick speaks truth. I knew Matt would do a great performance of it, but it isn't like "OMFG! BEST VERSION EVER!!!" particularly in regards to Britney covers (like most people on here seem to imply). In regards to best BRITNEY cover versions, i would suggest you to look for the topic i think Tyler or Nick made when real Glee Choirs were doing 'Womanizer'/'Gimme More' etc... And even Artie's 'Stronger' and Glee's own 'Toxic' versions are better :P

 

But yes. He did a great job of it and will be downloading an mp3 of it :P
