Grammy's were a joke!!! As much as I love Lady A, how did they beat the wonderfully amazing Miranda Lambert to anything? Revolution is one of the best country albums I've ever heard, and NYN (album) is incredibly weak, only 4 or 5 tracks I can actually listen to! As for that Esperanza woman beating M&S and Florence... People have been sabotaging her Wiki page, so it's closed! Glad LLM and TC are doing so well! :o The Hot 100 rules are stupid tbh, if a song sells well enough, it should be able to chart, like it can over here!

Mumfs at #11 and #12 now :w00t: This is brilliant

Shame LLM can't re-enter the BBH100 as far as I'm aware :(

If it gets enough sales to go Top 50 then it can.

re: Grammy

The biggest WTF is absolutely that Arcade Fire won The Album of the Year but lost Alternative to Black Keys. If The Suburbs wasn't the best alternative album how it could be the best album overall?

mergh, i wouldve thought Jessie J would appeal to the americans.

even tho she just broke out over here, she needs to get over there like soon, Theyll love her and we can love her at the same time :)_

Yep, exactly what i thought! I love The Suburbs but i suppose in album of the year they nominate the best albums from all the other categories! I mean how is possible an album to be album of the year but not Best alternative?

:puke2: Bieber at 2! At least, he didn't won anything at Grammys!

I Need a Doctor back at #2!!!!

And Love the Way You Lie up to #27!!!!

And Cee-Lo Green has really benefitted!! :o New peak for him? Funny that he only goes top 10 after Glee, and then after the Grammys.

The Cave is now #10 :w00t:

And I thought its last chance at BBH100 was last week  (It did get in anyway though, scraping #99)

OMFG, Mumford & Sons up to #5 :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: I knew they'd benefit a lot from the Grammys but this is INCREDIBLE!

Little Lion Man is still at #12. I swear LLM was the song they actually performed at the Grammys?

God, M&S doing really well! I wonder if it's part sympathy as they unfairly lost Best New Act to Esperanza Spalding? :kink:

Esperanza Spalding is officially my new idol for succeeding in really p***ing off Justin Bieber fans.

(However, any of the other three would probably have been better, especially Mumford & Sons)

Yupp, Florence + The Machine or Mumford & Sons would've been a lot better!

lol. That whole Esperanza thing was pretty hilarious tbh. Everybody was like "Um, who?" I was hoping Drake would win tbh (he was nominated, wasn't he?).

Yeah, the nominees were:

Florence

Mumford

Bieber

Drake

Esperanza

My order of prefernce goes:

1. Drake

2. Florence

3. Justin

3. Mumford

Can't rank Esperanza as I don't think I've heard any of her music before. Who know, she could be really good! :) Although I do give the impression that they sometimes give awards to people nobody knows, so it doesn't seem like they ignore non/less-mainstream artists.

Eric are you on drugs? Justin and Mumford & Sons, one and the same? LOL :P

They give awards to whoever they think is the best choice... although you have to bear in mind the panel is generally quite 'old' (at least compared to the average iTunes user) so tend to reward stuff that's more MoR [for want of a better word] rather than necessarily loving whatever is currently topping the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Anyone who actually expected Bieber to win is a moron anyway. Although he had a better chance than Drake - rap never wins any of the major awards at the Grammys unless it crosses over into more soul or R&B territories as well like The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Lady Antebellum being the biggest winners was a joke though. Nice reminder that the Grammys are total rubbish (just in case Taylor Swift last year didn't already). Give me the BRITs any day - at least we don't have yawnsome country music winning anything.

They performed The Cave. It was a great performance too, a favourite of the night for me.

20. Somebody to Love (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

Er... assuming this is the Justin Bieber song (as there's also 'Baby' a bit higher up), that's a little bit confusing as they already have a song called 'Somebody to Love'?

Same goes for 'Sing' which is at #18, they've already done a 'Sing!'

Not so much for 'Somebody To Love' as they are from different seasons so the cover sleeves have a different theme.

But it's not like they won't do a song just because they've already done another with the same name.

Fair enough but they should make some sort of distinguishment (is that the right word?) between the two like they did with the two Smiles.
