I didn't say that she has a better voice, I said i PREFER her voice. There is a difference.

What difference is there?

Adele has a better voice, its stronger but I cannot bear to listen to it.

Jennifer Lopez has a weaker voice (still better than people say though) and I can listen to it all the time and not be bored of it

or want to rip off my ears like I do with Adele.

Adele will never get Hot 100 no.1 sadly :( She's not doing well enough on airplay...

maybe with enough sales she will....

Its slowly rising ^_^

I don't know if this is as rare in the US as it is in the UK (it's only ever happened once on the official chart) but the top 4 on iTunes are all female solo artists without male features :o

1. Born This Way - Lady GaGa

2. Rolling In the Deep - Adele

3. S&M - Rihanna

4. Blow - Ke$ha

JLo is still #5 but that has vocals from Pitbull so it doesn't count.

Adele is bound to increase in airplay over the next few weeks. It happens quite a lot that songs, where they sell really high, but are like nowhere on airplay. Particularly with new releases. And yes, it even happens to a lot of urban songs... It's not only Adele.

Although I would LOVE her to get #1, at least on iTunes!

Also, I prefer Jennifer to Adele at the moment, because On the Floor is better than Rolling in the Deep (although I like both).

pop culture is really dominated by females lately!!! IT'S AWESOME!!
What's GaGa's lead? I suppose it will become bigger in next few hours!
Lady Gaga should rise in the next few days!

Still can't believe Adele is #2 on US iTunes (not in a bad way )!!!!!!

Written in the Stars is doing well at #85. Good to see it still climbing (albeit very slowly)! :D

Tinie :w00t: He was higher than his iTunes position suggested on the BBH100 last week (apparently he actually does have quite decent airplay :o) so hopefully top 70 or so this week :D

Adele has quite a decent lead over Rihanna, still quite a bit behind GaGa who'll no doubt increase today as her video starts being seen, but hopefully Adele can at least get #3 on Digital Songs (#2 is likely to be Cee Lo who still has 2 versions top 20) and hopefully top 10 or high top 20 on the Hot 100.

Gaga's Pop Bars are rising quite a Bit US/UK and WW :o :cheer:

<_< Gaga needs to do Jonas Akerlund videos only that vid is :puke2: Difficult second album syndrome coming if BTW is anything to go by.Backlash time.

I dont get the  for Tinie Tempah's WITS its a cheap Apologize rip-off hope Ryan Tedder got a songwriting credit . Pass out is    though.

Adele and J. Lo won't go #1 on Hot 100 because the lack of airplay. Same with I Need a Doctor - it has had great weekly sales but the peak so far is #4 and I doubt it'll climb any further. The airplay numbers of those three are pretty much on the same level.

Both Adele and J. Lo would need sales of 350-400k after Born This Way has declined and can't see that happen.

Born This Way will probably have two-three more weeks at number one. Britney's new single might be the next contender. I doubt that E.T. can reach the pole position although it'd be great for Katy to have four consecutive number ones, technically from one album as well (although the duet with Kanye West is not originally on Teenage Dream)
