68. Livin' On a Prayer - Bon Jovi

82. White Knuckle Ride - Jamiroquai

Wasted promo opportunity for Bon Jovi, doing LOAP instead of their new one.

Although their new one probably wouldn't even get as high as LOAP had they performed it... (also it's not available yet)

True but 'Living On A Prayer' is the better song of the two. Had they performed 'What Do You Got' I doubt it'd even be #68 now - maybe #168.

She doesn't have the major record company, she's on her own independent - "Black Pen". But her manager who makes most of the decisions - Bruce - is the horror of manager. I blame firstly him for ruining her career completely.

Knowing the sadness about literally EVERYTHING (bar quality of the songs) concerning Nadine's album I'm not shocked that she wasn't released today  , but I'm completely SHOCKED how badly are Roll Deep going! :o Recently Alesha has become someone like "anti-philosophers' stone" as everything she touches underperforms, despite being potentially huge.

Poor Alesha, I guess she had one huge era off the back of her being a big name again thanks to her Strictly win, and now she's back to her 2006 days of flopping with songs that deserve far better.

I think it was perfect promo for Bon Jovi personally - watch sales of their gigs absolutely rocket after that, quite frankly, awesome performance of Livin' On A Prayer.

A band that have had hits in 3 decades don't place emphasis on another top 40 single over additional tour ticket sales.

That has to be one of the best guest performances I've ever seen on X Factor - Bon Jovi ROCKED IT.

disagree, there new album is there greatest hits!

Yeah they're not worried about having a hit single. They want people to buy the greatest hits. Even though they've not released anything of note in 10 years so you might as well just buy Crossroad and download It's My Life.

Another reason for doing LAOP which is easily their most instant and accessible track - I'm sure BJ don't really care about single sales anymore, and haven't done for a long time.

Bon Jovi have a One Night Only TV special next Saturday, so more sales for the album next week.

So none of the Halloween songs ever did go top 40 then... given GB, MM and Thriller all made the top 40 last year (GB as high as #21) I'm quite surprised! Seems the Halloween effect is dying. Still, all three of those songs have gone top 75 officially.

It happened last year (2009) with the Xmas songs - they all charted (peaked) lower than they did in 2008. Well at least I'm sure about 90% of them did.

Yeah, but not quite so disastrously as the Halloween songs. All of them are a good 20+ places lower than their 2009 peaks.

Perhaps overall singles sales have increased so the Halloween tracks haven't made as big an impact. Singles sales around this time in 2008 were much lower compared to now.
