5. Elephant - Alexandra Burke

I can't wait to see if Elephant does what most UK releases do and peak several places higher in the UK than in Ireland or if it follows her own trend of peaking higher in Ireland (Start Without You aside). It could also do a Collide (which got to like #6 in Ireland but only just outpeaked it in the UK) so I wouldn't get too excited just yet but it will be interesting anyway.

I wonder how close Alex is to 4 cant view popbars. Not sure why they dont have a physical release for Elephant, it made alot of difference for All Night Long which did not get to No 1 on itunes but was No 1 on the Official charts.

No.5? Surprised. This bodes well for the UK release. It'll shoot to No.1, but then go into freefall. Maybe Gotye might even go back to No.1 for a second time the week after :o

 

Even more surprised to see Carly Rae Jepsen at No.9 though? Wtf :huh:

Lets see how much this changes.

The only surprise there is that Vanessa is actually doing quite well :D

Was wondering why 212 was falling, the explicit version has completely vanished from iTunes and only the censored version is available :o Basically people can't download 212

Wonder if we will have the chance to download our favourite Voice contestants songs on iTunes. Being the BBC they might have to give them away for free.

I was surprised by the fact we can see how well they're doing. How come the X-Factor performances weren't in the iTunes charts...?

Weren't I-Tunes asked not to include them? I presume that would apply in Ireland as well as the UK....

 

Primadonna is #11 and #19 (album version) :o Hopefully this can happen in the UK too (but i doubt it!)

Marina performed primadonna on the late late show so it has given it a boost. Jim isnt doing as well as his main voters are from the north and the those who download in the north are not included on the Irish charts apparently. Kian Egan was apparently going mad about this during the week.
