November 6, 201014 yr 1. Matt 2. Rebecca http://www.aesysinc.com/strumenti/icone/frecce/green_led_sign_arrow.jpg 3. Wagner 4. Aiden 5. Paije 6. Cher 7. TreyC 8. One Direction 9. Katie 10. Mary all I can say is thank god for Matt and Rebecca  Edited November 6, 201014 yr by chart wizard
November 6, 201014 yr Well I ended up missing nearly the whole entire show thanks to a belated Bonfire night at my brothers. So all I saw was TreyC and One Direction. Of the two, TreyC easily gave the better performance. Following on from others TreyC/Danyl comparisons, at least TreyC sang the entire song in key and didn't butcher the first verse like Danyl did last year. :puke: However, from the recap Rebecca sounded fantastic. Paije also sounded really good too.
November 6, 201014 yr Overall rankings: I'm REALLY surprised Treyc finished so high in my rankings :o Says more about the quality of the others though really... 1. Matt Cardle - The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face 10/10 2. Paije Richardson - I'm A Believer / Hey Ya! 8/10 3. Cher Lloyd - Empire State Of Mind (Parts I & II) 7/10 4. Treyc Cohen - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing 6/10 :o 5. Rebecca Ferguson - Make You Feel My Love 5/10 6. One Direction - Kids In America 5/10 7. Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho - Viva Las Vegas / The Wonder Of You 5/10 8. Mary Byrne - There You'll Be 3/10 9. Aiden Grimshaw - Nothing Compares 2 U 0/10 N/A: Katie Waissel - Don't Speak. I want to give her -1/10 but there's no way I can be unbiased, as I hate her personality and I HATE HATE the song she sung. So I'm leaving her out of my rankings. Edited November 6, 201014 yr by Bray
November 6, 201014 yr 01 Rebecca 02 Aidan 03 Treyc 04 Paije 05 Matt 06 Wagner 07 Wand Erection 08 Cher 09 Tesco Mary 10 Katie If a bottom three then perhaps Paije, Mary and Katie at risk. Mary definatly fits the bill as a week 5 shock exit at this point anyway.
November 6, 201014 yr Incredible. Matt and Rebecca have to be the final two, surely? I can only hope not. Rebecca is mind-numbingly DULL. Cher for the other finalist please. A Cher-Matt face-off would be properly unpredictable as well...
November 6, 201014 yr I don't see that One Direction AREN'T going to be final two I'm afraid. Whether they're up against Cher or Matt though, right now I can't call. Mary and Rebecca will be 4th and 5th.

So you keep saying but I 100% disagree, her voice is incredible and she has the whole 'Leona vibe' going on with her shy and reserved personality and quietly making her way through the pack each week with little media focus compared to some of the other contestants. I can't compare them vocally as Leona is more powerhouse, multiple octave whereas Rebecca is a more classic sort of singer. She's yet to put a foot wrong imo and doubt she'll ever see any unsavoury comments from the judges because she has perfect control over her voice, whether she interests you or not. A Rebecca/Matt/Cher top three would be my ideal right now though. The only thing is that I can't see Matt having an international career like the other two might have the potential to though. I personally think that the standard at the top is far better than last year.

Mary and Rebecca will be 4th and 5th. I have a gut feeling that Rebecca will be top three and has a chance of winning, and I wouldn't be surprised if Mary's off in the next couple of weeks :o I can't see a top four other than Rebecca, Matt, Cher and One Direction right now but it's hard to guage exactly how big the latter's fanbase is.

November 6, 201014 yr Mary could well be out tomorrow. Also, with his fanbase I don't see Aiden going out before the final five... I think you're under-estimating Mary. This has been her first dodgy week, and she's still seen as one of the "big guns". Certainly I'd be surprised if she went before Katie or TreyC. Aiden's the most difficult to predict. Until tonight, his last few weeks he's been little more than mid-table fodder.
November 6, 201014 yr huh did Aiden sing Nothing Compares 2 U? What exactly is American about that song? :|

November 6, 201014 yr My prediction of the Top 5; Rebecca Matt :puke2: Cher Aidan One Direction :puke2:

Katie, Treyc, Mary, Paije and Wagner are going to be the next five out, in any order. Rebecca after that, then Aiden, then a final three of (in no particular order) Cher, Matt, One Direction. Even if I'm pretty certain Matt would just be NU BROOKSTEIN.

The only thing is that I can't see Matt having an international career like the other two might have the potential to though. I personally think that the standard at the top is far better than last year. I agree, I can see Matt, Cher and Rebecca as the final 3, I just hope Matt doesn't come across as Jason Mraz in the end, he has got his own band to fall back onto as well, with the X Factor show will give him a stepping stone in the music industry.

Rebecca after that, then Aiden, then a final three of (in no particular order) Cher, Matt, One Direction. Even if I'm pretty certain Matt would just be NU BROOKSTEIN. Comparing Matt to Brookstein is really just utterly ridiculous. Brookstein was never anything more than a passable vocalist, did nothing but old MOR, and was also a c**t of a man. Matt isn't a c**t, is younger, and is OUTSTANDING when he's on top form. He's also capable of being a little contemporary and relevant (When Love Takes Over being a case-in-point). I'm still not convinced you haven't got Mary and Aiden the wrong way around. I like Aiden, but I think potentially Matt and One Direction both eat into his potential fanbase.

I mean in terms of success - I simply cannot see Matt doing a thing in the charts if he wins and is left in Cowell's hands. If he comes top three, he'll actually have a degree of artistic control over himself and might be able to frame himself into a decent recording artist. I'm pretty certain Aiden's guaranteed to go final five off fanbase given he threw out two dire performances in that John Lennon week and Thriller but still managed to survive.

A few years ago I'd have agreed with you, but in recent years I think they've been pretty good at marketing their winners (Leona, Alexandra). Admittedly Joe McElderry has been a misfire, but I think part of that was they tried to market him as an uber gay Mika type, which he never was in the actual show. If they stick to Matt's key strength (adult guitar MOR), I think he's got every chance of being a big seller. On Aiden, I don't think you can argue someone's guaranteed a place in the final five because they survived Week 2. And I don't think you can assume he's NOT going to have any more dire weeks, which he will be far less able to get away with when he's in the later stages. He won't have a throwaway Storm Lee, Diva Fever or Belle Amie to save him then. Aiden is still far too hit and miss.
November 6, 201014 yr RE: Aiden, if leaked votes are to be believed (and lord knows theyve had the bottom two right every time) Aiden has been struggling recently, coming in around 8th last week.
