Just the way you are is SOOOO much better than Promise This - that's why it's still at number 4

Quality has never been sufficiant to explain anything chart-related ...

Agreed, though tbh neither of them are stellar.

Makes me really sad () that katy perry is so hot and makes really catchy songs, and i really like firework but then she performs live so badly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OibKGfJKR0E Painful :(

Hope it keeps its position at #3 on itunes, want it to get a new peak!

chezza will drop like a brick this week
Combined it's #5 at the moment ...

Thats his comment out of the window, just looking to cause arguments, FAIL.

Looks like Shayne is closing in on Bruno Mars. He could be #4 soon. I do think with physicals he has the potential to be top 3 this weekend - as long as the single holds up.

Promise This combined is #5 it's great

Thanks for the news Bert for Lashes :)

Really surprised TT have yet to take the number 1 spot from Rihanna - would've thought The Flood was a number 1 cert.

I guess it could still get there with high physical sales

I'm so shocked take that still #2 and its nearly 2pm on monday! Not the comeback they may have been expecting..although maybe all their fans are just waiting for the album, but an anti climax if they cant make #1, which i'm sure they will do in the end but i'm glad its not coming with such ease that they may have expected, got to work for it!
Yeah she did, and pretty well for rihanna. Its also just a brilliant song that stands out on radio/tv right now :D
Gutted for TT

Why? They're doing just fine considering there's NO promo scheduled for this week at all. Their very first live performance is on Xfactor( 14 November).

They will overtake Rihanna during the week anyway.. plus they're releasing The Flood on both CD AND DVD.So their sales will be good, i am sure.

There's no TV promo but they've got quite a few radio slots lined up this week.

Either way ... they'll start roaring ahead of Rihanna as the week goes on.

Kath

I wouldnt say roaring as rihanna is set for huge sales whether #1 or #2, take that will be #1 but not by that much.
Happy McFly are doing so well. Not too far behind Bruno Mars. Fingers crossed they can make top 5.

 at Take That not being there yet, I expected this to be huge, but theres a chance it could miss number 1 now  such a shame, as I really like it and it is pretty good- I cant think what could've gone wrong, had they performed on XF yesterday rather than next week where they'll have JLS to contend with, they could've been number 1 now :( I guess its too early for commiserations- it all depends whether it can climb to number 1 during the week and how the album does :)

oh and: Rule The World>>>>Patience>>>>>>>The Flood>>>>>>>>>Greatest Day (radio kind of killed it)

all are amazing though, although they are all dwarfed by Back For Good of course

now thats over:

oh no at Shayne - its outpeaked the brilliant original :( really hope it drops next week- I hate it :puke2: :puke2:

its funny how last week Taio Cruz's appearance on Tinchy Stryder's song couldnt propel it to the top 20, but with McFly's new song, it goes straight to the top 10

and Adele back in the top 10 is a bit meh tbh, Im just sick of it now :(
