If they say they like Rihanna, they like Rihanna. Just because they don't like everything she does, doesn't mean they are a hater. I don't like everything my best friend does but that doesn't mean i hate her <_<

I love it, it's autotunedness makes it! If you listen to the 'pop version' where it hasn't been autotuned half as much, it doesn't sound anywhere near as good! It's just so catchy as well ... not sure how it will do chartwise, probably fairly low - maybe Top 20 but stick around for quite a while.

 

Exactly. People saying artists use autotune to hide the fact that they can't sing is a complete myth tbh. In reality, using autotune is not much different to using a computer to synthesize real instruments. Like you never hear people slating Written in the Stars, Airplanes, Empire State of Mind, Love the Way You Lie, etc. because the piano in them has been edited with computers to make it sound better.

Slammed Rihanna? I dislike one of her songs, I clearly said that I like the majority, if not all of her songs, but I can't stand this one, as it's autotuned to the max. I was also speaking about Rated R (which underperformed, whether you want to believe that or not) and how much I loved the album, but it was a shame that it didn't sell more. Oh, and a heads up. The post about Rated R was made yesterday, not today, so that's not two threads today that I've "slammed" Rihanna in. Stop being so ignorant, and actually read my posts before you reply to them.

22 weeks later still top 40 :o I dont think anyone expected it to be as huge as it has been! :dance: I wonder if his new one will last as long..doubt it.

I don't think it will. His new song is poor.

 

The Name Rihanna appearing in the title made this track the hit. People wouldn't flock to buy it or listen to it if Ciara, Keri Hilson etc were featured.

Do you think? It'll definitely out peak it but i doubt it'll sell more, maybe though. Who's That Chick has had some outstanding longevity though which i'm pretty certain it wont out do.
