November 12, 201014 yr I'm pretty sure Westlife will at least get top 5. They nearly always do, as nice as it would be for them to flop for once :puke2: And What About Now had a huge X Factor boost last year if I remember correctly - this is a bit more packed though so will probably have to settle for #4/5. And I don't think you can compare JLS now to the situation with Spice Girls in 2007 and McFly in 2008... JLS are very much relevant now, whereas Spice Girls and McFly were way, way past their better days by that point. I think JLS #1, then Far East Movement, Black Eyed Peas, Take That and Westlife lining up behind - perhaps in that order. Rihanna dropping to #6 seems a stretch mind, especially with the release of her album, but I'm not sure how she can hang on with such heavy competition :o Perhaps Black Eyed Peas could miss out - they're clearly not going to peak until they perform on the X anyway (presuming they do!). this ^ :D
November 12, 201014 yr Id love it to be Take That but i think it will be the black eyed peas (which i wouldnt be disapointed with either)
November 13, 201014 yr Ellie's Your Song should be high next week as well with the first showing of the John Lewis Xmas ad coinciding with XF (AFAIA). It really is going to be a huge sales week :o I'd say guaranteed top 10 places are Rihanna, TT, JLS, F*EM, Westlife, Katy, BEP and Ellie and probably the other 2 places filled by Alexis and either Mike or Bruno. Hopefully Bruno. Edited November 13, 201014 yr by Bray
November 13, 201014 yr Author Ellie's Your Song should be high next week as well with the first showing of the John Lewis Xmas ad coinciding with XF (AFAIA). If the rumours about Ellie performing on Sunday are true then she could be a surprise :o Then again, it will be more like an episode of TOTP with 4 performances

November 15, 201014 yr Author When you factor in JLS physicals from it being a charity single, I think they're a lock.
November 16, 201014 yr I think Ellie Goulding will do very well this week, maybe top 3! Also I don't think being a CIN single means anything really, Comic Relief nearly always get #1 (only 'Stick It Out' missed in 1993 I think) but CIN singles nearly always miss a high chart placing (I think one or both S Club CIN singles may be the only one(s) that topped?).

Last year's CIN single topped the chart :P But you're right, it's Comic Relief singles that can normally be relied upon to go to #1, though they don't always manage it (see The Saturdays) I'm looking forward to see who will be doing the Comic Relief single in 2011
November 16, 201014 yr JLS, hate them and hate that song but I'm trying to keep hope that Take That will edge it out at the end of the week and pip them to the post
November 16, 201014 yr I'm looking forward to see who will be doing the Comic Relief single in 2011 It'll probably be The Wanted. Their release timing seems perfectly planned for it and these kind of things are so predictable and boring.
