tbf though it is slowly losing credibility as a show - simon cowell has used the fact people aren't connecting with the audience as an excuse to send people home countless times. doing this is just making it obvious how much of a fix it is, not the voting but the production and the fact simon obviously cares more about media attention than he does about the people actually taking part.

He keeps that b!nt in coz she generates more tabloid time. itrs a f*cking joke. he looked raging and so he should. if i was him i woulda said the truth - shes been in bottem 2 4 times she should have gone

I'm sorry but I'm not against Katie. I do think she's a dreadful singer and VERY fake but I accept that the public made the decision this week. It's just Cowell and I find it all so wrong and I just genuinly think that people should move on from this wreck of a TV show and stop being manipulated by it.

I feel really bad for Katie actually, getting accusations of being a bitch, when she seems lovely. Maybe it would've done her better to go sooner rather than later, her haters are completely ridiculous, she hasn't done anything wrong - she's tried her hardest, yes she isn't the most talented there, but that's not her personal fault that they've saved her each week. How she's managed to stay so strong with becoming public enemy #01 for no REAL reason is beyond me.

Coming bottom 2 for the pass 4 weeks, you would have thought Simon and Louis would have gave Aiden a lifeline, its a FIX

People shouting 'fix' are just being silly- Katie sang better than Aiden and she finished above him in the votes- last week there was reason to get annoyed, this week, its fair and square

Yes but Aiden was bottom of the vote. I agree with the general oppinion that Waissel is an utter tit, but Aiden wasnt eliminated through the judges alone. There is nothing to complain about as far as I can see.

You could tell Aiden was pissed off... I would be too. Cowell thought about it for so long, and ultimately ended up doing the right thing. I find it hard to believe Katie got more votes, but Aiden said some heroic things on the stage...get him a nice ice cold Fosters now.

She has a thousand times more talent tha Aiden. Her performance tonight was stunning, probably one of my favourites of all the live shows this year!

Somehow I doubt Aiden is partial to Fosters.

 

Anyhow I always supported Aiden but he's been patchy to say the least and he peaked so soon (week one) that it's hard for me to care that much he's gone, even if he was delicious.

 

I'm supporting Katie as of now. I find the whole shebang absolutely hilarious - the fact that people on here, on facebook etc get so WORKED UP over the fact that she's still in. The vitriol is so out of hand that it's actually got me rooting for her. Katie QOXF.

DESPITE loving Aiden to death he was pretty much the definition of inconsistency - whilst I don't agree with Jark that he peaked in week 1 (his version of Diamonds Are Forever was the best non-Stay performance thus far in the series), he would all too often have an absolutely wonderful week and follow it up with something blue-balling and disappointing like Thriller.

 

Whereas Katie has only been actually good on one week (Jungle Book) and has just been vitriol-spawning ever since. OFF2WEEP
