Sticks And Stones is just amazing... Best thing we've heard so far for sure :wub:

I am not a massive fan of Nicola's voice to be honest with you, but 'Sticks & Stones' is stunning and the lyrics are fabulous :wub:

I'm not sure how I feel about 'Sticks + stones' just yet. I think it'll probably grow, but it's definitely the least instant of all the songs I've heard so far. The lyrics sound a bit shoehorned in, and don't really flow very well, especially during the middle eight.

I LOVE Sticks + Stones. It's just beautiful I think.

'I' sounds wonderful! Definitely my favourite from the clips.

I think this is going to be my favourite album ever, even more than Girls Aloud albums and that is saying something, every song sounds amazing, and even the b-sides are perfection.

Not a big fan of Sticks + Stones but I do think the lyrics during the breakdown/spoken part are outstanding.

I think Yo-Yo may be the next single (If she gets to release another one that is)

Yo-Yo :wub: Really love it, so good and not too far away from Girls Aloud's material! I is a bit disappoiting though, kinda dull :( Loving Take A Bite too, quite old school!

'Take a Bite' is easily the best thing I've heard from this era thus far. Excellent production, chorus and that rap!

 

In all honesty I'm a bit disappointed in the project as a whole, something just hasn't clicked. A lack of energy in the music? Personality? I'm not sure but I ENDEVOUR to get to the bottom of it.

"Gladiator" is my favourite song.

Brilliant album. Every track a 7 or above after 1 listen, but I think some of the will grow. Need to go listen more!

 

On my first listen now, loving 'Fish Out of Water'.

On the whole, VERY impressed. I had high expectations for this album and I'd say they've pretty much been reached. 'I', 'Take A Bite' and 'Yo-Yo' would be some of my highlights from the non-singles.

 

'Fish Out Of Water' is actually the only one that's failing to really click with me for now. But definitely the best album from any solo Girls Aloud project to date.

Not gonna listen till Monday, but I have listened to I, Yo-Yo and Take A Bite, which are all AMAZING! Especially the latter.

Fabulous album. Far better than the singles for me, I like Lucky Day and Beat Of My Drum was good but I find it really boring now, there are far better songs on the album than the singles. Nicola has proves, despite not having the best voice, she is a brilliant songwriter (expecially on 'I' and 'Sticks & Stones') and she can make fantastic melodies. I love the production on the album aswell. I wish they had put Dance In The Rain on the album though, instead of mabye 'Fish Out Of Water' which I am finding just alright, it seems to bringing down the amazing second half of the album.
