Posted November 17, 201014 yr As a massive Jessie J fan & of this song I thought I would start a topic about this song. This is Jessie's first single from her debut album 'Who You Are' which is due out early next year. I am so in love with this song but I am finding it hard to predict where it will chart. I thought that it would be big when the release date was in December but apparently they have moved the date to THIS Sunday. I cant help feeling that this could be a massive mistake but it is getting massive airplay on music channels like 4music & The Box this week, has over 2 million youtube hits in a week and screams hit to me. Mabye it will have a rising chart run? She really is too good to flop & if you dont believe me then listen to her Jools Holland performance! pOf3kYtwASo&feature=player_embedded And here is the acoustic version from her youtube channel... vAd3ogzmnl4&feature=share Edited November 17, 201014 yr by Davidson
November 17, 201014 yr If she has a good promo, she may get a proper top 10 hit! But not further...it's sort of song that either will flop either will surprisingly get into top 10!
November 17, 201014 yr I'm not sure yet. It might just debut at the Top 40 and gradually climb whenever it was released.
November 17, 201014 yr I think this is gonna be really big, maybe even reaching a new peak in the new year. I'll stick my neck out and say top 3 peak either way.
November 17, 201014 yr I like the acoustic version on Youtube, but I'm not so keen on this version. I suspect a lot of ppl will feel the same.
November 17, 201014 yr Not a fan at all. Watched it on The Box yesterday because it was the VIP track and I think it's terrible. To me, she's very... chavvy? So I'll say Top 20 if she's got a bit of a following.. Edited November 17, 201014 yr by Scherz
November 17, 201014 yr Ew. FAR too try-hard "different". It screams, "look at me, I'm kooky, buy me." The song is also not that good imo, but it's the sort of stuff people seem to lap up at the moment. I personally reckon she's fated to be one of those people who flop altogether despite attempting to copy everything that's big at the moment.
November 17, 201014 yr She's absolutely fantastic, and crazily talented. I subscribed to her on YouTube ages ago, and I'm glad she's releasing this. I love 'Do It Like a Dude', and I really hope it's a hit for her. Not sure where it'll chart though.
November 17, 201014 yr Totally wannabe American. Hopefully she'll be sent straight down the flop chute. Edited November 17, 201014 yr by superbossanova
November 17, 201014 yr Hopefully no.1. THIS IS BRILLIANT! She reminds me of Cher Lloyd. Edited November 17, 201014 yr by Ghetto Speak
November 17, 201014 yr absolutely LOVE this one! she's quite hyped up so I think it could do well, I'd say top 10.
November 17, 201014 yr Author Hopefully no.1. THIS IS BRILLIANT! She reminds me of Cher Lloyd. Please dont say that, shes 1000% better than Cher Lloyd will ever be . I agree with you though that it is brilliant..
November 17, 201014 yr Awful awful song - it encompasses just about everything I hate in music! :puke:
November 17, 201014 yr If her album is like the acoustic version, I'd be interested. But if it follows the path of the single, I'm not.
November 17, 201014 yr I think it might sneak a week top 5 ie. at #5, but stick around in the top 20 for quite some time.
November 17, 201014 yr I'm gonna say between 5 and 10, so about 7 or 8 :) Hopefully higher tho, love this song!
