As per usual, this winter will see the release of a new Christmas single by The Killers.

 

The band has released holiday-themed songs for the past 5 years and now their sixth, which is titled Boots, will be released on November 30 (in North America, a UK date is not yet known).

 

Last year the group worked with Wild Light and Mariachi El Bronx on the festive song ¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe!.

 

Meanwhile, The Killers are currently taking time apart as frontman Brandon Flowers concentrates on his solo music. This year saw him release debut album Flamingo.

 

This summer the group denied they are splitting and it's thought 2011 will see the arrival of their next studio album - the follow-up to 2008's Day & Age.

Good to see them do another christmas single but i have to say they usually disapoint me,its probably the only negative thing i can say about The Killers.

I liked last year's single and this year I'm sure I'll play the hell out of it.

I will be looking forward to hearing it but i will reserve jusdgement til then,maybe this is the year i will love it!!!

OH MY! I thought this was a Brandon Flowers christmas single! SO GLAD it's not though. (It just wouldn't be the same! :()

I'm hoping I'll like this single...I really didn't like 'Day & Age' and hardly ever listen to the band at all any more which is a shame as I used to be a huge fan!

I've always loved Bra- The Killers and the X-mas singles are always great. Although I don't own Joseph, Better You Than Me as I don't like

Elton John.

I really like the artwork for the single.
