November 21, 201014 yr Rich, here's what I like: 1. Take That - The Flood (1) (CR-1-1-1-1-1-1) 4. Robyn - Time Machine (6) (CR-6-4) 5. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (3) (CR-8-3-2-3-5) 10. Rihanna feat Eminem - Love The Way You Lie Pt. 2 (12) (CR-19-12-10) 11. Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are (4) (CR-18-17-15-9-7-5-10-OUT-10-8-4-11) Longest Runner 12. Ellie Goulding - Your Song (NEW) (CR-12) 15. Willow Smith - Whip My Hair (18) (CR-18-15) 17. Kylie Minogue - Better Than Today (16) (CR-19-12-11-19-OUT-16-17) 19. David Guetta feat Rihanna - Who's That Chick (8) (CR-8-19) The Flood is doing so well on your chart! It has the case of the #14s on mine  I like LTWYL Part II, but would've liked a bit more Eminem on it, just like Rihanna did for Part I. Your Song is great. A surprisingly good cover, Great chart as always!

A surprisingly good cover, Great chart as always! So I noticed! 13 places too low! See I do like Eminem's inclusion on it but I love Rihanna's verses, so I'm happy with the structure of the song  Agreed about Your Song, really subtle but it works incredibly well.
November 21, 201014 yr Hey :D, my comments for this week: 8. Take That - SOS (NEW) (CR-8) I heard this in a shop when I was in London last weekend, noted down the lyrics and was absolutely stunned when I googled them to find out it was a Take That song. Will definitely be ordering the album tomorrow 9. Her Majesty & The Wolves - Stars In Your Eyes (NEW) (CR-9) Decent entry, could do well! 12. Ellie Goulding - Your Song (NEW) (CR-12) Really nice version, will definitely be buying Bright Lights *Alistair Griffin - Just Drive Was a bit shocked to see him in the midweek charts  . Sadly I can't find a HQ version of it as it seems to be iTunes only :( *Leddra Chapman - Edie Have heard the new version - Rather good :D *Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You - Extra Festive What's the difference between the original and the Extra Festive version? Nicole Scherzinger - Poison Heard this the other day, decent enough, but it seems to be lacking something *Tove Styrke - Stalker In Your Speaker I'm still waiting on the album, but I've heard a lot of positive things about it. Looking forward to getting it!

Looking forward to getting it! 8. Haha, yes I know - just a taster of how this album is utterly bizarre but fantastic too! 9. I like it! I don't really have any expectations for it but top ten would be nice :D 12. I'm not sure if I can afford to buy the album again...there are about 9 or 10 albums I want out next week at the last count :drama: I think Alistair's song is up for free on his website actually too if you sign up for his mailing list, not sure if it's an HQ MP3 though...interesting thoughts about the new version of Edie - I do like it but definitely prefer the original! The difference for Mariah is that it's extra festive :heehee: has a few more strings and christmas effects in the new intro but otherwise it's almost exactly the same! Tove's album is very good and also a grower! I'm still getting into quite a few of the less instant songs.
November 22, 201014 yr I barely know anything in your top20 :o :( From the rest, really cool to see Jessie J and Jessica Mauboy debut, really catchy tracks. Definitely a fan of that Avicii track, hope its a hit in the UK - in case you don't know, Avicii is Tim Berg :P Too much Take That though, you loon! Great chart! ;)

I might get Duffy and Olly Murs too depending on what I think of the preview clips. Oh is it? I might have to sign up then  . I prefer the new version of Edie myself, sounds a bit like a Dido/Massive Attack collab. I got the Tove album today, it's signed too which was a nice surprise! I loved it, surprisingly the final few tracks were the stand outs for me.
November 22, 201014 yr Hi Richard, let's see how well Take That have done then. ^_^ 1. Take That - The Flood (1) (CR-1-1-1-1-1-1) Impressive stuff here. Is 'The Flood' likely to have many more weeks at no. 1 or have you discovered your next potential new no. 1 single yet? :D 2. Take That - Eight Letters (NEW) (CR-2) Out of curiosity, I checked out the samples on iTunes for 'Progress'. This is the closest to 'The Flood' on the album. I was surprised at the style of some of the tracks from what I heard. 5. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (3) (CR-8-3-2-3-5) Having finally heard this, I was slightly disappointed at first - it sounded like a poppier version of 'Te Amo'. However it's been a grower for me and I don't think it's that bad. I certainly don't see this going to no. 1 in my chart and can fully understand why this went to no. 1 in the USA whilst 'Only Girl' has only managed #2 there. 8. Take That - SOS (NEW) (CR-8) Stuart Price, the man behind producing The Killers, also produced 'Progress'. This track has a very strong "Killers" sound about the track. A decent track on the album with Mark and Robbie sharing lead vocals. 10. Rihanna feat Eminem - Love The Way You Lie Pt. 2 (12) (CR-19-12-10) Well it looks unlikely this will become a UK single as this is apprantly album only, whilst the ballad version was swiftly removed from UK iTunes. It sold enough downloads to chart at no. 160 this week. Can't understand why it was removed though, why can't people buy the tracks they want without any hassles? 13. Take That - Wait (NEW) (CR-13) This sounds like an ode to Pet Shop Boys. In fact, this track reminds me of 'She's Madonna' by Robbie Williams as if this is the sequel. The only thing that irritates me is the distorted vocals in the verses. 15. Willow Smith - Whip My Hair (18) (CR-18-15) Urgh, I like this song more than I should. :drama: The whole "i whip my hair back and forth, i whip my hair back and forth" does grate slightly even if it does make me laugh. The verses are pure pop brilliance, and that can't be denied. I can understand exactly why some people would hate this. The fact it's a 9 year old singing seems to reak of "pushy parents" even if one of them is Will Smith. 17. Kylie Minogue - Better Than Today (16) (CR-19-12-11-19-OUT-16-17) This isn't bad and probably the best choice for third single but if 'Get Outta My Way' could only make no. 12 then I can't see this track doing much better. Probably another top 20 hit if the record company have a physical release. Otherwise they might as well save some money and leave this to chart wherever. I think the only way the record company help boost the sales of 'Afrodite' is by releasing a brand new (preferably great) Kylie track and reissue the album like they do with all albums these days. 18. Take That - Kidz (NEW) (CR-18) Another strong track from Take That. This track does have a really catchy chorus. I like the way this track has been produced. 19. David Guetta feat Rihanna - Who's That Chick (8) (CR-8-19) Hmm, listening to this now on YouTube and I'm in two minds over this. It sounds like there's potential for a really great track but it's badly let down with a really lame chorus whick I'm personally finding really disappointing.

I always find that turning upbeat songs into ballads can work quite well but doing the opposite is rarely a good thing. I know it's not exactly uptempo but still, the reworking came as a shock  Oh cool, that is nice! Really? Which album, Cocool or I Know? If the former, the final few tracks are where it tails off for me  Hi Richard, let's see how well Take That have done then. ^_^ 1. I'm not sure yet - it's definitely still a huge favourite of mine! I don't really decide my #1 singles until I write up my chart :o 2. True, it's the most 'classic' TT, which is probably why I love it - I adore the melody  5. See I much prefer this to Only Girl, it's like a far better Te Amo to me - a really chilled, infectious song - my favourite from her in quite a while. I was pleased to see it get to #1 in the US although shocked to see it slumped right to #7 this week :o 10. I don't know why they're not letting this be cherry picked. Would have easily gone straight into the UK top 20, potentially higher - I absolutely love it! 15. I know what you're saying there, the verses are absolutely fantastic  The chorus is amazing and dire in equal measures  17. A re-issue of Aphrodite apparently is in the pipeline so I heard recently. I do like this song though and it's actually doing better on iTunes pre-release than Get Outta My Way ever did :o 19. I go through stages of loving this song and then finding it average, hence the big slump for it.

As far as Tone's albums are concerned, like most other albums, I prefer the earlier tracks on both albums. The UK version of I Know is really good

As far as Tone's albums are concerned, like most other albums, I prefer the earlier tracks on both albums. The UK version of I Know is really good  Oh Tove! I've never listened to it in order admittedly, I just added all of the tracks to my chart + others playlist and have been listening to them in random order  Looking at the tracklist now though. Looking at the tracklist order now though, I definitely agree with you - if only because White Light Moment is so close to the end! Really love Four Elements too - very subtle but soothing too, the biggest grower on the album for me. I couldn't get the UK version of I Know in HMV so haven't bothered with it, just downloaded the new tracks off Amazon as the others are already on various other albums of hers that I have.

Yeah, White Light Moment closing the album is amazing. I think it was Four Elements that I also liked a lot. Weirdly too, Million Pieces also sounded far better as part of the album rather than on it's own. It's a shame it wasn't stocked in store. Did you import the original release of I Know or download it?

Did you import the original release of I Know or download it? True, although I liked Million Pieces anyway, although not massively, I think it got to #32 in my chart! I know, they had no idea what or who I was talking about :( Imported it, last year. There wasn't much point me buying it again when I plan to get Cocool eventually anyway physically.

Million Pieces passed me by when it was released, I may have checked it out when it entered your chart but it only clicked with me when I heard it on the album. I know that feeling, I used to get a blank expression quite a lot in our old music store when asking about releases. Yeah, I'm planning to get Cocool physically at some point too, but never got I Know physically so the UK edition was a worthwile purchase for me. Shame it didn't have Little Lies on it though :(

I passed on that opportunity unsurprisingly  I'm really surprised Little Lies was taken off - the Radio 2 audience would have lapped it up, and she could have easily released it as a second single here and got it playlisted - and maybe it would have even charted if it was used on an advert or something!

Quite, it would have helped having it on the album. If she's going for a second single here, Love Me Like You Hate Me really struck me as single material when I was listening to the album.

I know, ridiculous - really takes advantage of the OAP's that don't know how to use the internet and take advantage of this scandalous 'service' :( I can't remember how that one goes  Pick It Up is quite strong, but also quite '2008' in it's sound. I Love You might be a good all rounder second single but I doubt she'll get the chance :( Hey Rich. Laptop has a charger now, so here's some long awaited comments :D 1. Thanks for replying as always Jonjo :D 9. Glad you like  It was a bit of a last minute find, I did my traditional entry switch in the dying hours of confirmation :heehee: But I instantly loved it - I agree with your comparison too - Roll Deep sing over Dance Wiv Me was my first thought - and I love both of these so it couldn't go wrong really! Kimberly has certainly been the Pussycat Doll of note, aside from Nicole hasn't she :o I thought Melody would have more of a career but clearly not... 14. It is a very very strong song  Poor ADELE :( I forgot to credit her in my chart like that  I actually like Price Tag quite a bit more than Do It Like A Dude personally, the demo of it was in my chart a few months ago in fact! Nadine's album is good but I got bored of it really quickly to be honest - Put Your Hands Up is the second best song on it, after Insatiable, but it's far from what you'd think she'd be capable of.

I haven't taken part in the Speak Now rate because I haven't listened to it recently and don't really care enough about it to go back to it right now - thus I can only remember about 6 or 7 songs on it from memory, so there are a good 10 or so that I have absolutely no recollection of :drama: I prefer her first two albums I think, although I know I'm going against popular opinion saying that
