The man makes a bloody good point. There are some people out there who benefited from the recession. The Upper Working Classes found themselves with more money as the Mortgage repayment fell. As usual i imagine this benefited the south bloody east the most, but anyone on one of those interest only endowment mortgages like my parents stood to benefit [provided their interest rate tracks the base]
