The one that starts at 2:50 and goes on until 3:48 really makes my insides turn to jelly.

I guess if I posted this in the Punk/Rock forum it may get some great responses.

Noel's solo on Oasis' "D'You Know What I Mean?" is brilliant. By far the best moment on Be Here Now, which isn't saying a great deal.

Rage Against the Machine - Bullet In The Head

The Libertines - Time For Heroes

Queens of the Stone Age - Feel Good Hit of the Summer

Weezer - Only In Dreams

Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze

Perhaps not really 'solos' but I love these.

This at 0:43

And found this live version of 2080.. Amazing at 1:00

I normally find gutar solos spoil a song but Dave Gilmour's final one in Comfortably Numb is great

Agreed.

Also, the first two guitar solos in November Rain by Guns N Roses are top notch.

Stephen Dale Petit's album The Crave is full of just fantastic guitar playing, really awe inspiring stuff.
Best guitar solo ever? That'd be on 'Boredom' by The Buzzcocks.
Or the multiple solo's in "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" on the EC was here album.
