Like Harry Connick in the 1980s and '90s, Canada's Michael Buble stood apart from most of his generation in forsaking contemporary rock and pop for the swing sounds of the '40s and '50s. A Sinatra-style crooner, Buble already had plenty of performing and recording experience by the time his self-titled 2003 album broke through and made him a household name. - HMV

The Black Album and You've Come a Long Way aren't classic albums (although the latter has it's moments). Elephant and The Queen is Dead most definately are, and I applaud Radio 1 for playing them in full. (Also, how are they going to play 'F***ing in Heaven on Radio 1?)

Love the Way You Lie has climbed?!?!?!

Which is a relief, because I predicted it would last week, as Rihanna's album was released. It's a shame that Part II wasn't available for download though, as the original probably would've climbed even more.

Or it's out totally. Yeah, I wish.

They played the explicit version of Forget You on Radio 1 before, so I guess they could play it. They just have to give a warning before they play the song.

Love The Way You Lie i think will definatly be the Biggest Seller of 2010! Which is brilliant for a number two peak singlel :L

My major problem with the concept is that Artic Monkeys apparently did a classic album?!

I hope so. It would be only the 3rd hip hop song ever to achieve that by my count (the other 2 being Crazy and Where is the Love?). Looking back through the previous years, they've nearly always been pop or rock songs.

I think this will be the biggest selling single of the year - it doesnt look like its going away :(

It would be like winning the Formula One title without winning any races.

They missed out Miami 2 Ibiza too? Seriously, why did I bother tuning in today? :(

Well, I guess we've got What's My Name?, Firework and Game Over to come. :D

My major problem with the concept is that Artic Monkeys apparently did a classic album?!

For the average Radio 1 listener, 4 1/2 years represents about 1/2 their lifetime, so that I can understand.

Normally 15 years is enough time to judge if an album is a classic or not. Whilst Elephant is only 7 years old, I think it's well on it's way to becomming a classic.
