In the albums there is a 5k gap between #6 & 7 Rihanna could easily push MCR out of the top 5 MCR are only 32 copies ahead of Rihanna.

The top 3 albums are not going to budge all week, it seems solid 38k for a #3 album when the #4 album is practically half of #3 sales on 19.5k.

JLS should easily crack 3 figures plus, not so sure about Westlife yet as it might trail off on 38k its frontloaded.

If the formula is todays sales X 3.5 I make TT's album on total of 230k plus, JLS on total of 205k plus and Westlife could scrape 125k

How far has McFly Above the Noise fallen?

Down 7 places

Beady Eye doing great considering that's physical only :o (download is free from their website)

Its not bad I guess but the lyrics are absolutely awful in true Liam style

Wow, TT ahead of JLS- YES! JLS could get number 1 if they do enough promotion I guess- its not so big a gap

XFF was expected, good sales, although this is down on XF 2009 which got 82k first day, and Hero got 100k first day- so this probably wont sell as much as they did

glad MCR are top 5 in the albums as well :D

132 copies behind ;)

No number 1 for JLS. Excellent!! I quite like the lads but their music is banal rubbish.
Hoping Mansun can be number 1 this week with New Order doing well in the albums.
n I guess- its not so big a gap

The thing is Jls sales mainly preodered copies unlike Take That. As i predicted there was noway Jls would overtake TT in the album chart. The biggest album of the century and only 1 week on top?

 NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!

Biggest?

Fastest selling certainly doesn't mean biggest. Look at X & Y and indeed Be Here now...certainly not the biggest albums of their century. Not even of their decades.

How much more than XF could they possibly do? :P

They won't catch TT now - the first days sales will always be the highest, and if that isn't enough...

Good to see Olly and JLS selling well and The Gorillaz and Jessie J in the top 30.

I assume Beady Eye is a new Liam Gallagher project then :P They'll fall out of the top 40 by Sunday

Hopefully both Let It Be and Hey Jude can be top 40 on Sunday :D Both are classics

Where's Sex On Fire today? :kink: Also, do we know what its final position was last week or do I have to wait until Thursday for that?

I am so pleased for MCR! Clearly though that 17k is a very frontloaded fanbase purchase - so I expect to see it barely in the top 10 by Sunday. A shame P!nk has fallen so far out of the ten already, I expected the GH to be a massive consistant seller in the run up to Christmas but for some reason it hasn't caught on.

And just  at 'All Time Low' climbing again. That song really is like herpes.

pink may have fallen outside the top 10 but sales are now strong enough that the no10 album will still sell around 35k (a no1 a few weeks ago) so she is still selling well just not as well as things like take that or jls!!
