The two tracks are on the same theme, they both have a big pop artist [Tone is big for Norway, K] and a hiphop rap artist. They are also the same tempo.

Granted SIMH is a Tone Damli track so there are about 6m more strings on it :heehee: I would say it was a reasonable comparison. It's far from perfect, but they kinda are Norway's Rihanna/Eminem. I still maintain it would be a big hit worldwide.

I love SIMH, even better than Butterflies imo :o If given a UK release and handled properly it would be proper HUGE!

Does anyone know if Pixie's "Can't Make This Over" is in the iTunes top 1000?

As much as I truly love the song, and her, I can't see any world where Tone Damli could get the support required to be an international star.

'Handled properly' in the UK basically equates to getting Radio 1 support, which I don't believe Tone Damli would get, Vinni's rapping sounds very 'Nordic doing English' unlike similiar Norwegian rap act Madcon, whose rapping doesn't really have a Nordic tone to it at all. As catchy and great as I personally think it is, I don't even think the Radio 1 playlisting team would entertain putting it on there. And Radio 2 certainly wouldn't, because of the inclusion of a rapper. Therefore, it would sadly have no chance :(

Scandipop just has next to no chance of smashing anywhere but its home territory these days. Sure if they're marketed as dance like September and Agnes, but Tone is out and out pop and radio stations that actually have an impact on the charts would avoid her because it's not the in thing at the moment.

This is the first time I've posted since yesterday evening, but that performance BEPs gave on X-Factor was GOD-AWFUL, I can't imagine how anyone would be convinced to buy it from that performance but then again I guess these performances reach an audience of millions.

I've grown to quite like the Willow song in a novelty way.

I don't know about Alex, but Joe has been on Blue Peter today and Loose Women tomorrow - don't know about the rest of the week

Alex #31 and #48

Both Blue Peter and Loose Women thats a relief he is at least looking at a Top 100 smash hit.

Well what else do you expect him to be on? Everyone bangs on about tv promotion, but the slots are few and far between. He was on This Morning last week too

The Silence: #31 and #45

Edited by Knightr634

will the silence be a riser in the top 200 then??

how far ellies behind.think she will be no1 again by friday and then the winners single is released on sat night...ugh!!!

Haven't done one in a while, so here's an Xmas update. The falls (in the top 200 anyway) look big because it's been ages since I did one and I did it while a lot of them were at their peaks and they fell over the weekend - while I was writing this up my feed updated and several of them are actually reclimbing now. The Extra Festive AIWFCIY is gone but I'm almost certain this was just the chart bug, as it was #154 before my feed suddenly updated. (Although I suppose the chart bug could explain why some of them climbed a few places after the feed updated)

I thought Gio Compario might be some Radio 2 style Italian classical artist or something.

But alas, it is in fact the GoCompare man. :(

Off-topic, but I never liked the Christmas   :left: and so on. It's kind of creepy. Like a man with an arrow for a face.

The up, down and left are still the old blocky ones for me  Only :right: has been updated

Willow and BEPs top 2 please for the main chart
Alexandra is 16 combined i do beleieve :)

Black Eyed Peas must surely be #1 combined now? They're very close just with the #2 and #30 version but they also have another version in the 100s (and one in the 400s), while Willow has nothing else...

Could be very tight this week again.

Come on BEP :cheer:

Given Willow's lead over Ellie is hardly anything special I can see Ellie going back to #1 on iTunes yet again around Friday.

Ooh, WMN? back up to #7 :cheer: Shame it looks like Coldplay could be knocked out soon by either of Alexa or MJ/Akon :(

BEPs are about level with Willow combined now I think- Its hard to decide which I would rather see there

and the Go Compare man releasing a Christmas single! :o Dear God!

Let's all pray that he never makes the top 100 :puke2:

I love them, I like how they are all the same style. The normal ones are ugly, and I don't like that they are all different colours really
