I noticed Chic's My Forbidden Lover being sampled on one of the BEP album tracks...

Alcazar used it better though :smoke:

Yeah, that's the 1979 song I was talking about.

Luther Vandross also sampled it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brCIPvVwF0A

And I've got to say, all these tunes that hip hop and electronica artists sample are SO much better than all that boring stuff my parents listen to and Heart FM play all the time...

Pixie Lott - Can't make this over been deleted from Itunes for the 5th time this week !!

BEPs are definitely #1 combined now... and that's without even putting in their versions outside the top 100 which would extend the lead even further...

(Sorry for the bad editing job, I did it on Paint but you get the point)

Hopefully BEPs first version can overtake Willow to get the #1 boost before their X Factor boost wears off ;o

This is not my ideal top two, but I'd much prefer Willow to get it over that. :(

Ditto - that BEP song is just heinous from start to finish.

both songs are utter sh*t, but Willow by pure default is simply "less" s*tty lol.

1. Whip My Hair - Willow

17. Hold My Hand (Duet with Akon) - Michael Jackson

34. The Silence (New Single Mix) - Alexandra Burke

57. Turn Around (5,4,3,2,1) [WestFunk & Steve Smart Radio Remix] - Flo Rida

107. Punching In a Dream (Single Version) - The Naked & Famous

117. Better Than Today - Kylie Minogue

140. Someone Wake Me Up - Joe McElderry

145. Make My Day (Bashy vs. Napt) - Bashy & Napt

160. Red Cortina (Special Acapella Version 2010) - The Saw Doctors

171. Santa Claus Is Coming to Town - Gio Compario

188. What Happens On the Dancefloor (feat. Cobra Starship) - Alexandra Burke

191. Perfect - Alexandra Burke

194. A Little Respect (HMI Redux) - Erasure

197. Missing You - Abi

203. Before the Rain - Alexandra Burke

278. Missing You - Abi

Everytime #41 now! Get that top 40 nooow!! :w00t:

It´s top 40 right now. :o

Annoyed to see Israel's 'Over the Rainbow' suddenly deleted. It was #39 earlier but has now vanished completely. There's a single version down at like 171.

Question - when a track is for some reason deleted off iTunes it's still counted for the chart for the amount up to that point right?

Because it was released as a single

Even so, I didn't expect to see it do so well across the border. Have they been doing any promotion in the UK, or is just excitable ex-pats?

But is it actually *deleted* (as in unavailable to download) - or simply not appearing in the chart?

If the latter, then it's just the same bug we've been complaining about for weeks... :(

In the case of genuine deletions though - any sales accumulated up to that point do count towards the chart.

Which Booty Luv covered of course! Also just remembered this song from the late 90's(?)

MJ is creeping up the itunes chart hour by hour. Not the most inspiring first single (and I'm sure not one he would choose himself), but I wonder if Top10 on Sunday is a reasonable guess.

The music video has been delayed until the end of the week, which won't help matters

YAY, so glad Britney Spears - Everytime is in the top 40 :D

Not a lot they can do anyway, given the unavoidable absence of the lead artist...
