I like it, its fun, not her best, but its catchy, i think some people are over-exaggerating by calling it the worst song they've heard this year, there has been way worse songs, not to mention she's been "un-original" before, Alejandro, although my favorite song of hers, is a clone of Ace of Base's don't turn around and she's channeled Madonna before in Dance In The Dark with the whole celebrity naming rap thing, and Telephone could have been sung by anyone, I ignored all the hype for this anyway, so i'm enjoying it.

Are people seriously surprised that the song has climbed to #1 so fast? Gaga is the IT person in the music industry right now. Let's give this song a couple of weeks to see if it's still doing well.

Heard it on Kiss earlier, at like 6:30! :wub: My mum was in the car too, and she said: "It's not very Lady Gaga-ey is it?" when I informed her it was Momma Monster! :lol:

Obviously doing really well and as a Gaga fan I'm happy to see her be successful and admire all the effort she's put in to promoting gay causes like the Don't Ask in the US. I really hope this isn't now going to define her though :-S BTW is obviously such a nod to the 'typical' gay community that it almost feels like she's trying to make music that her stereotypical fans will like instead of great innovative pop music that she's known for
