Just think. If the single was released on Sunday it probably would have sold over 100,000 copies, and went straight to #1!!!

I'm slightly worried that it may not actually hit #1 next week, what with the BRITs added to the fact that Jessie J's sales this week were remarkably strong.

LOL She'll get #01 even if Jessie J does manage it next week (which you're right, I think she might) - the video will probably propel her to #01 if she doesn't do it this week.

Is it me or the background in the intro of BTW (first 15 seconds) sounds like the music trailer of inception (between 00:11 and 00:17) ?

 

Jessie J stands NO chance for a 3rd week. Even with The Brits imo. GaGa's sales will still be too strong! She's selling 120k (at least) next week. Jessie will sell 100k, but not by much more I don't think... If Jessie's album was released this week, then I'd say Jessie had a strong chance due to cherry picking etc.. but I think she's gonna struggle and I can now see her chart run being something like 1-1-2-2-2-2 :lol:

I'm the same. Despite the terrible lyrics (which are nothing less than ridiculous and pandering) it is quite catchy. I like her but I find myself not wanting this to be successful (or wanting to like it) so she moves onto something else. She's hyped her new material so much, this is just terribly pedestrian and rather boring (compared to Bad Romance, Alejandro etc). Judas sounds brilliant from the description, I'll wait for that.

Yep, Bad romance not reaching number 1 was awful! :(
