They will join Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Whitney Houston, among many, who previously performed for the annual show. From MTV News: In addition to the performances, the show will include commentary from the troops who are stationed at the front lines. More featured artists will be announced in the coming weeks. VH1 Divas premiered in 1998 and has saluted a slew of legendary female singers including Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. In 2009, the event returned after a five-year hiatus with a lineup that included Kelly Clarkson and Miley Cyrus. “2010 VH1 Divas: Salute The Troops” will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT on December 5 on VH1.CAN'T WAIT!
