'The Family Jewels' is a collection of feel-good pop tracks, with instantly catchy and infectious choruses. This album just never fails to get old and I love it now, just as much as I did back then. Fantastic album. Shame she's not getting quite the success she deserves though. He has been my idol for pretty much a year now! This track is, so far a personal favourite and I have loved it ever since I downloaded the demo, a couple of weeks before the album had leaked. I love everything about this. It's such a shame this didn't go on to be the huge hit it truly deserved to be. This was definitely the highlight of his show from when I went to see him back in August! This album confirmed to me that The Saturdays really are one of my favourite girl groups. They have solid, pop gems in their albums and (barring 'Change' by Sugababes) I think they have created 3 of the best albums ever, by any girl group. Obviously imo, but I think they're actually underrated in terms of success. They deserve to do that tiny bit better. We all know I'm the resident Keri Hilson fan. She really can't do much wrong in my eyes! I know this isn't released here in the UK yet, but I'm charting it here now as I think I've had the song long enough to appreciate whether it's a 2010 or 2011 song. December 14, 201014 yr Author ALBUMS: 02: Rihanna 'Loud' yuCuW5II6uY 'California King Bed' MY CHART RUN: [1-1-1-1] (4 Weeks) *STILL CHARTING* Coming in second place, is Rihanna's 5th studio album 'Loud'. After the release of 'Only Girl (In The World)', I thought my love for Rihanna was wearing thin a little, after finding it a little underwhelming. However, as the album leaked, I found out, it was just a tiny glitch as this album continues Rihanna's "get's better with each album" theory. This album is almost perfection! A couple of tracks (literally only a couple) wear thin after one or two listens, but it doesn't ruin the album as the other tracks are strong enough to carry it to amazing standards. This album is still not wearing thin on me. My Album Rate: 07.5 'S&M' 10.0 'What's My Name?' (feat. No matter how many times I listen to this, it just never gets old for me. It's such a beautifully written, constructed and just generally a brilliant and simple pop song. I was a bit dubious about this doing things for her in the UK as it didn't do too well in the US (and they LOVE her usually) although it seems she's done a complete U-Turn in success with this era. December 14, 201014 yr Faves and comments on your EOY top 20's; 001. The Saturdays feat. Flo-Rida 'Higher' Great pop song, perhaps on par with Up for me now. Definitely their two standout singles. Can't believe it peaked at #10 in the UK :/ 002. Alicia Keys 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' My 2009 xmas #1! 003. Keri Hilson 'Pretty Girl Rock' 004. Jason DeRülo 'The Sky's The Limit' 005. Alexandra Burke feat. Pitbull 'All Night Long' 006. Kylie Minogue 'All The Lovers' Challenging for top 5 in my EOY chart by the looks of things, a career high for Kylie, I'll never get the 'bland' comments that it's greeted with by some people on here, it's euphoric and so uplifting! A modern Kylie classic. 007. Roll Deep feat. Jodie Connor 'Good Times' 008. Bruno Mars 'Just The Way You Are' 009. Glee Cast 'Don't Stop Believin'' 010. Biffy Clyro 'Many of Horror' Where's Matt's version!?! Weren't you tempted to edit this list and put it at #1? :kink: ----- 011. The Saturdays 'Ego' 012. Leona Lewis 'I Got You' 013. Alexandra Burke 'Start Without You' It's not as awful as some say it is, but I've never loved it, very catchy though 014. Jason DeRulo 'What If' 015. Roll Deep 'Green Light' Woo, so glad this went top 20 after it only got to #5 in your weekly. Amazing bassline/chorus  016. Jason DeRulo 'Ridin' Solo' 017. Eminem feat. Rihanna 'Love The Way You Lie' 018. B.o.B. feat. Rivers Cuomo 'Magic' 019. Keri Hilson 'I Like' ---------------------------------------- 001. Jason DeRülo 'Jason DeRülo' Not exactly a shock but it won't be topping anyone else's EOY chart I'm sure :heehee: Great album though, went top 3 in my weekly chart anyway! 002. Rihanna 'Loud' This is really great. How on earth does she keep up such consistency? 003. The Saturdays 'Headlines' 004. Marina & The Diamonds 'The Family Jewels' 005. Bruno Mars 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' This album continues to grow on me actually, need to re-enter it into my chart 007. Gabriella Cilmi 'Ten' 008. Diana Vickers 'Songs From A Tainted Cherry Tree' Expected this slightly higher! Great to see it top ten though! 010. B.o.B 'The Adventures of Bobby Ray' ----- 011. Miley Cyrus 'Can't Be Tamed' 012. December 17, 201014 yr From your top 10 001. The Saturdays feat. Flo-Rida 'Higher' - Really. It's definitely one of their best but it's not number one worthy. 002. Alicia Keys 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' - I prefer this to her other singles off here album. 003. Keri Hilson 'Pretty Girl Rock' - Not heard 004. Jason DeRülo 'The Sky's The Limit' - This is ok, far less annoying that 'Whatcha Say' and 'Riding Solo' 005. Alexandra Burke feat. Pitbull 'All Night Long' - Her second best after SWY 006. Kylie Minogue 'All The Lovers' - This is ok, but I've never really liked Kylie anyway. 007. Roll Deep feat. Jodie Connor 'Good Times' - This is excellent, I never thought it was more than OK at the time, but I really like it now. A contender for my top 100. 008. Bruno Mars 'Just The Way You Are' - This just missed out on my top 200 as I'm a bit bored of it. It's very good though and it's definitely one of the best number one singles of the year. 009. Glee Cast 'Don't Stop Believin'' - A great cover version 010. Biffy Clyro 'Many of Horror' - The best song in the top 10, one of my favourites of theirs.
