#43 || Aggro Santos & Kimberly Wyatt - Candy

Well, 2010 certainly has been the year of the Pop/Rap cross over and this little number sprinkle some dance magic into the mix as well :funky: Pop + Dance = AMAZING

#42 || Caro Emerald - That Man

Next up is one of 2010's best new artists, Caro Emerald. That Man is one of the stronger tracks off her Debut [which does rather well in my albums list] and is one of two tracks by her to make this list.

#41 || Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull - I Like It

Take one singer i've always hoped would lose his voice forever after being attacked by a dog, add a vocoder and a dance track and this is the result.

Just missing out on making my year end top40 is Enrqiue Double Glazing, an artist who's more at home in my top100 worst songs of all time. I so did not expect to ever like a single track by him, but as shown by 2010's great U-Turn's i am willing to admit i was wrong. I was wrong. This is AMAZING.

I do love 'Candy', even if it has ridiculous lyrics commenting on Facebook which will look stupid in a few years time.

Enrique's is good but radio have well and truly raped it.

#40 || Alcazar -Headlines

Melodifestivalen's token Alcazar entry is up next marking the first of the top40. Featuring a dance routine so camp the females look like drag queens Headlines is a less orgasmic version of Stay The Night. It's still fantastic fun none the less.

Candy will sound dated in a few months tbh, it's the kind of track that is great for about a year then ages like a bitch.

I don't listen to the radio precisely for that reason :funky:

Shall we have a shock? I think so!

#39 || Sugababes 4.0 - Wear My Kiss

So the Sugafakes just scrape into the top40 by the skin of their teeth being beaten by some tracks by artists i previously thought were utterly vile. How the mighty have fallen. This may or may not have a lot to do with the fact that they sacked Keisha, released this monstrosity with the most diabolical and cheapest girl band video since Whore's Aloud's Something Kinda Ooh. It's so far beyond Generic is actually quite loveable, but that doesn't stop it being one of the worst tracks on Sweet 7, just above the ear rapeage that is Jade attempting Thank You For The Heartbreak and Wait For You.

#38 || Marina and The Diamonds - Oh No!

Almost in spite of Hollywood being ear-rapingly awful Oh No! is f***ing incredible. Highly catchy with a fantastic video. If it wasn't for the fact that every single one of her BJSC entries have been utterly dire i'd actually have downloaded the album off the back of this.

'Oh No!' is incredible, wasn't fond of it when I listened to the album but when it became a single and I saw that video it all made sense. Criminal it wasn't bigger than it was.

#37 || Professor Green & Ed Drewett - I Need You Tonight

Second and final entry by Chav (male) of the Year 2010. I Need You Tonight is AMAZE and uses the INXS sample very well imo. Obviously the Buzzloons think he's the devil despite most of them having no idea who INXS are, they just hate singers with cocks. And i'll allow that the Brunette in the video is actually a Blonde, mainly because she's fit as hell. I love the lines "...i ain't no idiot, i'm pro, i'm no intermediate.." and "...I am a pimp..." :wub:

Agreed. It deserved far better.

#36 || Swedish House Mafia vs Tinie Tempah - Miami To Ibiza

My dance music phase has returned! Huzzah! Some incredible dance tracks this year, this being one. Featuring a rather brilliant rap by Tinie Tempah but a poor video. I know lets have half naked women in the video! How original. I'm not complaining too much, but it has been done far better this year [see Chica Bomb - who i have completely forgotten about :drama:]

#37 || Professor Green & Ed Drewett - I Need You Tonight

I love Ed, he has a great voice. Shame about the other twonk.

Caro Emerald and Alcazar :wub: Assuming that A Night Like This is still to come, I'm impressed that it's been *that* out of my BJSC entries to have the most significant impact on you :o I really thought it was one of those bizarre things that only I'd love and I was convinced that it would come bottom five in the final!!! Even though it was my 2nd smallest entry this year in terms of success, I'm more proud of that than most of my songs that have come top ten! Jazz almost making the top ten was a huge achievement I thought in a contest dominated by electro and scandipop!

As for Professor Green again...I think that's my worst single of 2010. I never liked the INXS original of the song anyway and I certainly don't like his dreadful input on it :(

I guess he's to you what Stromae is to me - most of BuzzJack hate it but a few love it.

A Night Like This is indeed still to appear. I adore Caro Emerald. Very inspired, brave and epic choice by you. I bought the album off the back of it. If i had to pick a fave, ANLT would probably be my favourite of your entries this year.

Quite likely, i can't stand Stromae you can't stand Prof Green :lol:

That's great to hear! It was an incredibly risky entry but I just adored it! It's definitely one of my favourite entries that I've sent in recent times. And far from being disappointed with 12th, as I might have been if Zowie or Sheelah had stalled that low, I was actually shocked and elated! Her album's a slow burner but I do love it :D Especially the first few tracks :wub:

I was honestly shocked at how well it did. I thought it would be another Thermostatic/Example.

It's the best beginning to an album that isn't by Tone Damli of 2010.

#35 || Lady GaGa & Beyonce - Telephone

Most hyped video release of 2010 is next. Superb track, especially Beyonce's vocals, but it's simply outclassed by 34 tracks.

#34 || David Guetta & Rihanna - Who's That Chick

Recently released Guetta track has all the hallmarks of a club hit and a track that i am certain to love.

#33 || Zowie - Broken Machine

FSR Rontvian entrant and Kiwi native Zowie is in at #33 with the superb Broken Machine. With it's Sound of Arrows-esque chants and Honda Accord Advert-esque video it's quite the epic track.
