Oh yeah, I love Framling  I think STN is still schlager, but modern. I must admit I do prefer that style. If I want ABBA, I'll listen to ABBA

You're totally right :o  "Jesus came from heaven, down for men to see"

I can't believe you had a Eurovision/ABBA discussion in here yesterday and I missed it :snif: For the record I think Carola's Fangad I En Stormwind (her winner in 1990) is her best song, but Invincible was quite good. The best schlager song ever of course is Alcazar - Stay The Night. Or Linda Bengtzing - Jag Ljuger Sa Bra. I don't know :(

Oh, and ABBA's best song is The Day Before You Came. FACT.

Lol, I was waiting for you to interject last night but you were nowhere to be seen! :D

So it was you that multi-voted in that ITV1 ABBA programme last week? :o :o

I think Invincible tops Fangad Av En Stormvind (even the English “Captured By A Lovestorm”), I’d actually put her top 3 as:-

1. Invincible

2. “Sanna Vanner” (Belinda Carlisle-light);

3. “Sig Mig Var Du Star”

all above Fangad/Captured. I'm not so keen on her other Euro entry Framling though.

Invincible I think will always be the best schlager song of mine – in fact it was interesting when Eric was comparing Invincible and The Winner Takes It All last night – they’re probably my top 2 favourite songs of all time, yet I’d never realised they were so remarkably similar. :o

That would work :D

What about Framling! Another Carola classic, she's amazing  If we can call Stay The Night schlager then I'd agree with you on that point!

Have you seen any of her concerts?

I own Jubileumshowwen – that easily ranks in the top 3 concerts I’ve seen on DVD. She's a fantastic performer.

Would love to see her live, I’ve seriously considered going to Sweden when she’s toured to do so, but have never been able to afford it. Wish she had been big in the UK and could tour here. :(

Nope, sadly not :(

Love that song too. What is she like live?

I think Hero is my second favourite ever Euro song:-

1. Carola – Invincible

2. Charlotte Perelli - Hero

3. Charlotte Nilsson – Take Me To Your Heaven

4. Brinck – Believe

5. Scooch – Flying The Flag

How do you get tickets for Melodi?

Thank you. One for 2012, I think, so hopefully it is the same ticketing agency!

I might be in touch next year asking for recommendations on where to stay, if that’s ok!

It will be, and hopefully I can make it in 2012 too, when I've finished my course and won't be as busy :D

Yes of course, I'll be happy to make suggestions!

The Flood - Cheryl Cole #25, havent seen Alan Carr yet was out.

Invincible #12 - Get a move on in to that top 10!

Biffa got cringing reviews on Alan Carr last night.

It should be top 10 by the end of today - the last I looked it was only about 15% behind Katy Perry @ #10 and rising fast.

Any update on The Saturdays 'Higher'? It rose from 93. and 107. to 67. and 88. - Any reason why?
