I really don't hold out much hope for this happening anymore to be honest.

I had my suspicions frankly, I'm very pleased though - Bruce Garfield was frankly doing an appalling job of things.
I'm hoping she's moving to a big record deal, 'Put Your Hands Up' deserves to be a big hit. :(
i actually cant listen to put your hands up it drives me mad, i liked insatiable... i think she should start again... the music is dated! i feel sorry for nadine but a big label wont sign her now?
Ya after the disaster of the first album it will be very hard for nadine to get a big solo deal now but at the same time i wouldnt completly write her off.

I've playlisted it for moi for April. I love it a lot more already now  Probably more than Insatiable tbh.

Matt pardon me for prying!

but in your sig you list all the albums you bought last year i note you didnt buy Nadine's album but bought Cheryls!

I know you're a mega GA fan so i'm surprised really! it does speak alot about her success though - as alot of the core girls aloud

fanbase didn't buy her album for various reasons!

 \

Personally i have always said i would buy solo music from all members and despite not being too much of a fan of Cheryl i have bought her single and album, but i can understand why some people don't feel obliged to, but it does say alot about why Nadine failed - Kim and Cheryl had the support of the GA fanbase, perhaps when Nadine made those sketchy comments in the press it had a damaging affect on the support from the core GA fanbase for her.

I must say that this, Insatiable and a couple of others (at a push) are the only decent tracks on the album. It's sad the release fell through, sadly it was inevitable and the song would've likely missed top 200 anyway, but I was holding out for the Tesco video  Shame, as though she has a better voice Nadine's music frankly pales in comparison to Cheryl's! *hides*

I have the album, I just forgot to add it  Forgotten to add Britney to this year as well. Not being on here as much means I forget all about updating my sig  Didn't get Insatiable CDS thoug as one of the biggest Tescos in the north east stocked about 2 copies!

No it most certainly does not. Cheryl's music sounds like cheap rejects she was handed at the very best. The only difference is she has a mega high profile in comparison so could've sold any old $h!t (and did).

I thought Nadine's album was spectacularly disappointing. :( I'm not saying it's that bad, but for 'the voice of Girls Aloud', I expected something a whole lot more than the fairly insipid material she ended up bringing out.
I agree, it was very disappointing. Now I'm holding out hope for Nicola's stuff.. I hope at least one GA member can make a good album.
Nadine's material is far superior to Cheryl's (imo) I LOVE the album
