My hate levels decresead somewhat when she started singing the Missy Elliott performance. She then ruined it all by pulling a token Cherl Cole 'dickhead face' at the end.

Not her worst performance by any means, but I cant help but feel my time would have been better spent thinking up of more nicknames for One Direction.

I liked it personally- but I think she is definitely out first this week

Cher Performance #1: Awful, just awful song choice.. and she said 'Holla' in the middle of it, I think I might have cringed to death. She sung it OK but that doesn't excuse that horrific thing that just raped my eyed & ears. - 2.5/10

Matt Cardle - Here With Me

 

Very good rendition of the song sang brilliantly and by far the best of the first performances.

 

Rebecca Ferguson - Like A Star

 

Poor Rebecca, she again sounded slightly nervous during this performance. Sadly I find this song incredibly dull (that's the Corrine Bailey Rae original) so this doesn't help shut up her critics who say she's dull. This song wouldn't have helped. :(

 

One Direction - Your Song

 

As per usual, starts off excellent when Liam started singing. It went a bit wobbly as the song progressed leading to a catastrophic bum note from Curry One towards the end. He clearly oversang his ad lib and failed miserably.

 

Cher Lloyd - 369/Get Your Freak On

 

Never heard '369' until just now but it sounds like a great track but it's only made me wonder what the original sounds like. It hasn't made me think "wow, Cher is brilliant".

 

After round 1, Matt is currently winning the battle. As much as it pains me, I'm ranking the acts as follows:

03. Rebecca

04. One Direction

It wa alright, not her best performance, I still think Stay was her best performance of the series, pretty average 6/10

As good as Cher sung that song, I couldn't take it seriously. Everyone else has sung a ballad to get them through to tomorrow, then she just throws out a lazy mash-up of two very easy songs to sing. She doesn't deserve the final three at all now.

That was PAINFUL to watch. She completley owned him on the vocal.

Matt & RiRi - That was a bit dissapoiting tbh :( Matt gets 6, but Rihanna gets 10. But I'll have to score it 7.

Rihanna owned Matt, yes before anyone goes on about the vocals, they may not be perfect, but she has a far better personality and more stage presence than he'll ever have.

 

Wasn't as good as I thought it would've been actually, pretty average in all honesty. :( Hopefully it'll see 'Unfaithful' back in the Top 40 though.
