Sounds like a cross between Kelis/Alexandra Burke I didn't like her that much on the show but this is actually rather good!

Hope she does really well with it but will need heaps of promotion-like it.Hope whomever started the thread has egg on their face and it ends up doing well.

I really loved her during X Factor, she was my second favourite. I never thought she would release something, but this is pretty nice. She does look very different though.

It's alright, I'd say above average but I can't see it doing anything unfortunately.

The ENTIRE PACKAGE is quite great but I have a slight BEEF with the video. I hate the shots of her in the gold dress with the two men during the middle 8 - it looks like something I would've produced at media studies A level! So jarring with the rest of the video which looks really glossy. The best bits are the smashing light bulb morphing into Rachel's head (how has nobody thought to do this earlier?) and the slo-mo water throw (triple rhyme time!).

This isn't bad at all, i can myself loving it within a few days.

 

I loved her on X Factor, a little annoying yes, but what a voice! It's a shame she 'never connected' with the public (apart from that odd rebound in week 3 when she topped the votes) but seen as though Alexandra had won in the previous year, it wasn't much of a shock.

 

Her 'Stop Crying You Heart Out' kicks Leona's to the floor. That was her last performance.

In fact, this single does her voice no justice at all! Still, i'm glad she's actually releasing material, a Laura White-esq chart position wouldn't be such a disaster for this 'independent label'.

I just think fair play to this girl for making the most of her 9th place on X Factor. Nobody would have really expected her to release a single and she could have easily been forgotten. She obviously is very keen to make it in the industry.

 

I like the song and video and hope it does well.

Apparently its being released in February not March now.

I really hope she gets support from radio and the television shows when she has to promote, I think the buzz she has been getting has made her team move it forward.

I actually quite like this! :o wasn't keen on her at all during the x factor, and found her to be quite dull.

So, this has grown on me massively - and I think it's amazing, though I still believe it will do an 'OMG' by Sabrina Washington, at best.
