I'd imagine there will be a complete set. It's got a BBC catalogue number so all looking good! Probably won't know a release date until 6B starts transmitting over the BBC airwaves.

Just wait until Part 2 is released and save money on Part 1 (as it should be cheaper by then) :D

EDIT: If you look at Glee that's split into 2 volumes, then a complete set!

Second trailer for the second half of this series can be watched here.

I far prefer this trailer to the first one, still, both are very exciting!

  • 2 weeks later...
Has anybody seen any confirmation about the date when the series returns? All the adverts I've seen so far have only stated 'returning soon', and there's no return date anywhere on the internet apart from for the USA. If they get it before we do... -_-

The BBC aren't allowed to give out official dates until a week before, or something. And anyway, the first half of the series was broadcast on the same day in the UK and US (different times obviously), so it's very likely that that's the case here.

I think it's that they don't want to release the times and dates of the episodes until a week before which is after rival stations so they can try and get the best viewing figures.

They'll say Returning Soon until Saturday, when it'll change to Next Saturday, or Sunday when it'll say Saturday at somewhere between 6-7.

It''s going to be devastated by The X Factor :( One reason this mid season split is doomed to fail. :( Giving Moffatt an excuse to do only a few episodes next year, so he can play with Sherlock <_<

NO WAY are they putting The X Factor and Doctor Who on at the same time? :o
It will be on before X Factor surely? Usually it's over by 7:30 which is when X Factor will start?

That's what I thought. I don't know what will become of me if they go up against each other. My two favourite shows (and the only two I make an effort to watch in real-time.)

Fix Factor is at 8.00 so there won't be a clash. The Radio Times website has a TBA slot on BBC1 between 6.10 and 8.00 and also on BBC3 between 7.00 and 9.00. It's reasonable to assume Dr Who and Confidential will fill part of those gaps.

This week's X Factor is on at 8:00, so assuming it's the same time next week, Doctor Who will be long finished by the time it starts! :P
Well that's a relief! I was getting quite unnecessary. I can stop thinking about moving a second telly into my living room.
If they were to ever clash, I'd definitely watch Doctor Who first. There's always ITV+1 now!
Phew! thank God they won't be clashing! I think they should learn from Strictly Come Dancing that X factor rules primetime, whatever's up against it!
Well, that's going to make my Saturday evenings quite full then (It was always going to, but at least they aren't clashing).
Well thank goodness, but I can see ITV pulling out a clash at some point, be interesting to see what happens for the epic finale
