From the little I've seen of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale, she's quite a good actress and certainly very attractive (not that it's important) (unless you're a guy, in which case it's VITAL.)

What I find most interesting about her announcement is that Moffat has been quoted as saying that who she is and how the Doctor finds her (and apparently "where" he finds her) is one of the biggest mysteries/secrets/shocks of the next series.

It's also worth saying that the next series will be split into two - with six episodes in 2012 and eight in 2013. The eight in 2013 won't be the only episodes that year either. I'm assuming that's because of the anniversary.

The Ponds leave in episode five after meeting the Weeping Angels for the last time, and apparently "not everybody gets out alive."

The season première episode is called

Asylum of the Daleks

.

Episodes 2 and 4 will guest star Mark Williams (Mr. Weasley in Harry Potter series) as

Rory's father.

Episode 3 will be set in the Wild West.

Episode 5 will be set in New York. Source includes heavy spoilers.

I've missed the show this year, so I'm looking forward to its return. The producers really need to realise that it's not the time of year or timeslot that's harming the programme, it's the day it's scheduled for broadcast. I think it'd get much higher viewing figures on a Sunday night, no matter what time it's shown (obviously between 6-7:30pm though).

Got my fingers crossed Series 7 will be a lot better than Series 6, which was underwhelming to say the least. Jenna-Louise Coleman looks to be fantastic, and

the Daleks returning

looks great too.

It's become a tradition, though, to air it on Saturdays. Plus there's nothing else on that day that I watch so all my attention is on Doctor Who

It's been reported on Digital Spy today that

Victorian Jenny from A Good Man Goes To War

has been spotted on set.

That should be good! There was such a good supporting cast in that episode, it was a shame most of them died then

Episode 2 is called Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and episode 3 is called A Town Called Mercy. The season premières in August (not long now! :D), so will probably have the same run as the second block of last series (late August-early October).

Episode 4 called Cubed. Really excited about this one judging just by the title.

I was thinking it would be interesting if the doctor had a partner who wasn't from the present. As far as I know all of the partners have been from our time right? (the time when the particular series was first airing at least) EDIT: I just did a bit of research on the old episodes, turns out I was very wrong....but at least the female partners since the reboot have all been from our time.

Somebody from the far far future or from far far into the past would make for a great change.

Also, I found this and thought it was pretty funny: http://cdn.bleedingcool.net/wp-content/upl...hoo1.png?848685

That's a good point actually. He just picks up an Earth girl from the 21st century - it would be interesting to see somebody from a different planet or time become a companion.

The link didn't work :(

The original series run used to do this all the time and as such had a much greater variety of companions - think Leela, Nyssa, Romana, Jaime, Zoe, Susan etc.

Plus The Doctor always picks British girls these days. I know a Brit audience will relate to a Brit much better but you could certainly have some more diverse characters invloved with other nationalities. I don't think we as a nation are that narrow minded are we?

Anyway I'll say it yet again BRING BACK THE ICE WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!
