Posted December 20, 201014 yr Due to be released in February. ABOUT TIME. Quite like 'Six Foot Seven Foot', although definitely not up there with the majority of 'Tha Carter III' for me. Supposedly the 'A Milli' of 2010? I'm not sold. Still have high hopes for the album though, I think it'll be stronger than 'Rebirth' and 'I Am Not a Human Being'.
December 21, 201014 yr Just listened to 6 Foot 7 Foot and it sounds like a failed attempt at emulating A Milli. Unimpressed.
December 21, 201014 yr 6 foot 7 is awful. I have no doubt the album will be HUGE though, well, in the US at least...
December 23, 201014 yr 6' 7' is QUITE ALRIGHT. I don't understand Bangladesh though. Same bests constantly. Worse than Timbaland man. I await this album with quasi-intrepidation
December 23, 201014 yr i quite LIKE 6 foot 7 foot i dunno bangladesh is pretty good imo. did it on'em, a milli, etc. all incredible. but moreso because of the lyrics than the production to be fair, i guess he just brings out the best in rapperz.
March 24, 201114 yr Author 2nd single 'If I Die Today': OlCsIsxT9NA Already much prefer it to 6ft 7ft. GO WEEZY.
March 26, 201114 yr I really liked 6 Foot 7 Foot, shame it didn't do so well here in the UK; it went top 10 in the US - annoying how things like that happen sometimes. John (If I Die Today) is brilliant though, after the flop era of 'I Am Not a Human Being'; Lil Wayne has made sure Tha Carter IV is going to be HUGE and teaming up with Rick Ross is only step one.
March 26, 201114 yr ^ It was completely expected though, to be fair. I think like 99% of Lil Wayne songs do best in the US. He's so big over there.

May 27, 201114 yr Author I'm in love with 'How to Love'. So different for him (loads saying it sounds like a Beyonce song ha) but I think it's rather lovely. So excited for this album.
May 30, 201114 yr Is How to Love an official single? I hope not, it's a great song, but I can't see it doing well on the charts at all...
August 25, 201113 yr ^ LOL at my previous post. Album leaked, PM me for a link. It's pretty good on first listen.
August 26, 201113 yr Author I'm loving this at the moment! Early highlights include 'Blunt Blowin', 'So Special' and 'She Will'.
August 26, 201113 yr Cremey - love the sig! OT, Blunt Blowin, Nightmares of the Bottom, How to Hate, Mirrors, Abortion, and So Special are the standouts so far. Honestly a little disappointed with tracks like Megaman and President Carter, but it's still a great CD. Mr. Carter's home! Edited August 26, 201113 yr by MANIAC
August 27, 201113 yr Author Cremey - love the sig! OT, Blunt Blowin, Nightmares of the Bottom, How to Hate, Mirrors, Abortion, and So Special are the standouts so far. Honestly a little disappointed with tracks like Megaman and President Carter, but it's still a great CD. Mr. Carter's home! Thanks - still so obsessed with 'Watch the Throne' and all things Kanye related! Yeah there are a few tracks I'm not so keen on too but it's a million times better than 'Rebirth' and 'I'm Not a Human Being', like you say...he's officially BACK. Ah.
August 27, 201113 yr I've finally got round to listening to the tracks from the album that I haven't heard yet (everything except the singles and It's Good, which, let's face it, has been impossible to avoid the past few days ). Liking it so far. I think it'll have ENOURMOUS first-week sales.
August 27, 201113 yr I'm not sure if it'll do a million first week, but the sales will be pretty high. It might just be the most anticipated hip hop album of the year.
