The Hard/Rude Boy situations was similar to the Imma Be/Rock That Body situation. They both "flopped" because they were promoted terribly. Hard was sent to radio like 6 months before its release. Imma Be's video was being played on music channels before Rock That Body was even released.

 

Imma Be peaked at #55 or something. It's a fantastic song, and even though it was the 5th single, we can't pretend #55 is a good peak. It got promoted almost exactly like a single, even being playlisted by Radio 1. It got to #1 in the US (even though it was only the 4th single). I would've thought at least top 40? Rock That Body was the 5th single in the US, and even that went top 10.

 

Hard underperformed for a similar reason to why The Silence did. Everybody knew it already (although for different reasons). *Awaits the inevitable "No, they're not the same"* :lol:

Cheryl's #27 and #54, which is quite funny since 2x27=54. Haha.

She's somewhere 11-15 combined, I wonder if physicals could give her that extra push to get top10. Most probably not, but that could be an interesting race.

What a great classic song, I have heard it many times on Absolute Radio but never knew the what it was called/who it was by. It's the song with the big saxophone solo in it.

#55 is an awful peak, it was getting quite a lot of airplay too. :( I don't know about you, but i prefer it SO much to the dire 'Rock That Body'. The chart peaks should have been the other way around...

Disagreed completely, 'Imma Be' is a complete disgrace and 'Rock That Body' is by far and away the best.

This :wub: Imma Be is the kind of tuneless "crunk" crap that can be a #1 hit in America, but is never going to be a hit here. See 99% of Lil Wayne's output.

Lights On is the worst song i have heard for a long while. It just came on the TV and i actually cant take listening to it. Worst song of 2010. Why are people buying it? Cant believe its back to #3. :puke :puke: :puke:
