Britney will flop as people will start to tire of her sordid stories plus there is a lot of rumours going around about her.

What's THAT got to do with anything? It didn't affect her in 2007...

Beyoncé's releasing her new album, and Madonna is rumoured to be releasing her album late 2011. Britney's new album is rumoured to be called In Love With a Criminal, with the press release looking to be released tomorrow. I think she'll be huge this era, but Gaga will be bigger. That said, it'll be nowhere near as big as The Fame era, as she won't be slapping a whole new album on and calling it a "re-release".
I'm not sure if Amy Winehouse will do well..she could be a flash in the pan. Sophie Ellis Bextor is supposed to be making a comeback but cant see her doing very well. Somebody mentioned about Blue making a comeback, again not sure if they will do that well as its been quite a few years since their last release and there arent many boybands doing well at the moment.
Rhydian is back with a new album in Feb/March with a single release first. Going down the pop route now he has escaped from Sony, so it'll be interesting to see how that goes. Depends on the material and whether he can get radio play imo.
Coldplay should do very well, hopefully Blink can get a first #1 album and a third top 10 single. That's the benchmark for The Strokes and Foo Fighters as well, and The Killers and Paramore are starting to write again so could have stuff out by the end of the year.
I think Britney will do well on hype alone but once she gets round to performing live if she is able to it will end up a car crash, I predict the same for Amy.Its good the big voiced females are making a comeback and I think Beyonce, Adele and hopefully Jennifer Hudson will do well.It is touch and go for Leona it really depends on Syco getting her the right lead single and a big promotional campaign to go with it.

Take That, The Wanted, JLS and Westlife all having at least reasonable success in 2010 - is that not the best year for boybands in absolutely ages?!

Don't forget McFly with their biggest selling single ever. (Is it? I don't know really, as it's still top 20 it probably will end up being it)

Best wishes for Sugababes and Keisha Buchanan...

"All About You" sold 158k in a week in 2005 (Comic Relief official single, got displaced by Tony Christie) and 388k by the end of the year, 400-odd now so "Shine A Light" isn't going to make that.

Blink!! I really hope so anyway. Apparently Tom played a 5 second guitar snippet of their comeback single somewhere, I'm trying to find it. But I can't! :drama: Their tour sold out in HOURS. So I'll be surprised if their album doesn't go top 10! (at least)
I can't wait to hear new material from Delta Goodrem and Darren Hayes who are releasing new albums in 2011

Album will almost certainly go at least top 3, surely. Their stature has only grown in the last five years and I'd like to see them deliver a good run of singles as well.

I think that Girls Aloud would be massive if they release a new album!! Their last album was very good with great singles!!
Unfortunatly, I don't think it will do well, Depeche Mode return to the studio 2011.Looks like it will be a remix package getting done to celebrate 30 years since their first chart entry Dreaming Of Me.Confirmed remixers so far are Alan Wilder, Vince Clarke, Marc Ronson, Nick Rhodes with possible others including Eric Prydz,Brandon Flowers and Bernard Sumner. The remix single looks set to be Personal Jesus.
I love how already now everyone knows who's flopping and flying.

Britney, Beyonce and Lady GaGa ... can't go wrong with that power trio.

Also looking forward to Adele, Leona, Avril, Amy.

If Girls Aloud came back and did another album it would make my year. Doubt it though.

I know! How dare preople try and predict who will flop or fly on a thread called 'Who Do You Think Will Flop Or Fly'.
