January 2, 201114 yr Anyone else still trying to watch this? What i thought would be a Fear Factor wrip off is actualy a The Games wrip off, but it feels like we are going to end up with Celebrity Wrestling part 2! We had tickets for this from Applause Store! What a frigging disorganised mess it was at the Liverpool Echo Arena. I swear ... you would have got more entertainment if they'd filmed the fiasco that was going on outside. Queued for 30 minutes before a bloke with a loudspeaker came around saying ... if you haven't exchanged your print-outs for tickets ... you may as well go home. I was furious (well I wasn't really ... as Chris Evens is a ginger tw*at and I've never heard of the other so-called celebrities ... apart from Jona Lomu! Kath
January 2, 201114 yr 2011 seems to be starting with a load of nonsense on the box. This, The Magicians (like what?), The Big Fish Fight! and loads more of examples I can't be bothered to type.
January 2, 201114 yr Author televison presenter Jenny Frost (odd I thought she was a singer.....) richard branson('s son) erm Kelly Holmes "Little Mo" Someone from Hollyoaks errrm err...
January 2, 201114 yr I watched five minutes of it but had to switch over before I turned comatose. Thank Christ then that we were turned away ... my son has a very, very low boredom threshold and he'd have been saying 'can we go now? can we go now? can we go now? can we go now? can we go now? Besides, on reflection, I think besides Always in the Kitchen at Parties and Stop The Cavalry, Jona Lomu never did have a big pop career. Kath
January 2, 201114 yr It would've been good if they were celebrities we had actually heard of, I actually really enjoyed The Games when it was on! This is just a poor rehash with celebrities no one has heard of really.
January 3, 201114 yr Thank Christ then that we were turned away ... my son has a very, very low boredom threshold and he'd have been saying 'can we go now? can we go now? can we go now? can we go now? can we go now? Besides, on reflection, I think besides Always in the Kitchen at Parties and Stop The Cavalry, Jona Lomu never did have a big pop career. Kath I thought Jona Lomu was a rugby player, wasn't Always In The Kitchen by Jona Lewie?
January 3, 201114 yr I thought Jona Lomu was a rugby player, wasn't Always In The Kitchen by Jona Lewie? It was a joke! Jona Lewie's Stop The Cavalry is after all, my favourite Christmas song. Kath
January 3, 201114 yr wow this really is like the games except the games was actually good :( bring that back!
January 4, 201114 yr It was a joke! Jona Lewie's Stop The Cavalry is after all, my favourite Christmas song. Kath Oh... I had a feeling, in which case it did make me chuckle :kink:
January 5, 201114 yr Started watching. Nothing happened for ages. People kept getting introduced and nothing happening. Switched over for the cube
January 5, 201114 yr BRING BACK CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER! YES!!! Big Brother will be missed. Channel 4 will suffer this year without it. Even though its ratings were going down every year it still had much bigger ratings than most of its shows. 3-4 million viewers on Channel 4 and it got cancelled - travesty.
January 6, 201114 yr It is tragic. Chris Evans made it seem a bit more interesting in the ads. "OH HI I'M FAMOUS I STARRED IN A SOAP AND I AM SO FEARLESS I CAN SKATEBOARD AROUND THE SHORTEST TRACK EVER". Oh puuuhleaaase.
January 6, 201114 yr ^ LOL Agreed! I went to see this live last night (tickets are free) and it was so much build up for about 2 minutes of actual footage. It was mostly interviews and begging us to cheer and chant a celebrities name! Utterly pointless, it was quite a nice free evening though. Chris Evans is f***ing atrocious in the flesh too...
