They've done a few good ones, but I just wished they changed them a bit more. They need to do more mash-ups, as they'll be things we probably won't've heard before (like Halo/Walking on Sunshine). Or they could just change the structure of the song more, or change the instruments, or cover a remix of a song, rather than the original, because I have to admit, a lot of their songs sound almost exactly the same as the original. It's like they just got the instrumental of the original, changed the volume of a couple of instruments, and sang over it. They should do a complete re-haul of the song. Or like in Empire State of Mind, they could've at least merged Jay-Z's version with Alicia Keys's version. I probably would've bought that, even though I don't watch the show.

They're still doing really well anyway. I quite like Telephone. Like in the chorus, how they have that melody that goes "duh, du-la-du-la-duh, du-la-du-du-la-du-duh, du-la-du-la-du-duh". You can't really hear it in the original version unless you concentrate it, but they've emphasized it in this version. :) Does anybody know why bit I'm talking about? It like some sort of high-pitched synth-strings that plays in the background.

I don't know if it sounds like someone playing with his tongue, but in this video it's the bit that plays between 0:50 - 1:05 and then comes back in at 2:15 - 2:45 (they play it through twice the second time). I presume the "playing with your tongue" part you're referring to are the telephone sounds?

 

While we're at it, the other good parts of Telephone are 0:26, obviously. :lol: And also 1:37 - 2:08. Although they do like the exact same thing again in Alejandro... But it still sounds awesome. :lol:

As a download Act Mcfly are getting much better with Party Girl selling alot more downloads and staying on the I tunes chart quite a few weeks and then Shine at light 10th week and no sign if giving up.

At this rate it will still be on the Charts Come 6th March when 'Thats The Truth' is released:-)

Yeah, it sometimes causes the old single to "outclass" the new single, so to speak, but with the Black Eyed Peas, Boom Boom Pow was still in the top 10 when I Gotta Feeling climbed in, and then I Gotta Feeling was still in the top 10 when Meet Me Halfway climbed in, and that era went more than fine for them! :D

I discovered it when I listened to a mash-up of OMG and Telephone on youtube (which was really good). With Usher and will.i.am's slower "singing", you could hear more of Telephone's beat, and I was like "Wow, I never noticed that before!".

 

I actually didn't like LoveGame at first, because I found it too repeptitive, but it grew on me after about a year, and I think I like it more because it's a bit different to Gaga's other songs. :lol: It would also be a great beat for a pop-rap song imo! But yeah, I understand what Lady Gaga means when she says "This beat is sick", because it is! :lol:

 

And while we're at it, I think Video Phone has a great beat too. Although it's a very long song and can get repetitive, but it's okay.

 

Probably one of my favourite bits of any Lady Gaga song is in Just Dance though. The bit between 3:00 - 3:30 is literally an eargasm for me! :D

I think the reason they decided on a March release is because they just come off the Europe part of the Tour before doing all the UK Arenas so i guess a single inbetween is good
