Shelli, you're actually too dumb to know what it is you're actually supporting, and you're a bigger spammer on this Forum than Crazy Chris is, at least occasionally he can display some measure of perception... Please go away from this Forum, read a few history books, read a few PROPER newspapers (ie, ones with words of more than one syllable), check out some decent news websites... And actually come back here with an informed opinion, and maybe people here will actually take you seriously...

Oh hun, I may come across as dumb on an internet forum but who cares? Its not real life and as long as Im having fun in real life thats all that matters. You can come out for a drink with me sometime if you want

By all means, "have fun", but do it in The Lounge or in Music Forums... This is not the place for just "having fun"... When you come into Perspectives, me and Danny expect a certain level of knowledge of news, current affairs, politics, history, etc... If you cant meet this level, then dont post here....

OK I wont post anymore  Have fun posting though and see you soon! xx
Dude, he SO totally did exploit it for all it was worth... And the illegal war would be part of that "political gain" mate.... You seem to forget the 2004 election campaign....
No i haven't forgotten it, i just wasn't that invested in it. At 15 i wasn't overly concerned with the American election.

I was utterly baffled that they re-elected Bush though.

Oh, I'm sure Bush's 2004 campaign ads will be on You Tube still, give them a scan if you have a spare few minutes....

Well, Palin and Co are totally free to deny what was said... Seems to me that you just didn't even listen to what the guy was actually saying, you just seem interested in "liberal bashing" just for the sake of it, totally in denial of the facts.... How is what the Tea Party are doing any different to Chuch Heston and the NRA going into Denver mere days after Columbine and saying "From my cold dead hands....". Christ, the kids that Harris and Klebold murdered with their legal firearms were barely fukkin' cold on the morticians slab when "Moses" went and did the sermon on that mount.....

The right wing in America are disgusting, frankly, they make Nick Griffin and the BNP seem tame by comparison.... But you just carry on with the liberal bashing and totally fail to see the real enemy here....

And are CNN all that reliable a news source anyway...? From what I've seen they're only slightly less fascist than Fox News or Al Jazeera.....

Before you completely write off The Young Turks, check this link out....

CNN are quite fascist? Now I've heard everything.

I decided to hold my breath and watch that Young Turks video. The presenter was slightly more reserved about it this time. He almost had me up until the point when he said 'it's only a guess.' Only a guess? When everyone 'guessed' that the shooter was somehow left-wing based upon plentiful evidence, that was an unacceptable position. Yet when Cenk Uygur makes a guess, it's to be taken as gospel truth?

And I do hate the right wing American media and the stuff excreted by cretins like Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck. I thought it was taken as a given that I don't like them, but it looks like I'll have to spell it out for you. I DON'T LIKE BILL O'REILLY, GLENN BECK OR ANY OF THE CRUST INFECTED SLIMEBALLS THAT CALL THEMSELVES PUNDITS ON FOX NEWS!

I tend to take the political position of our generation's great satirist Trey Parker. "I despise conservatives, but I really f***ing hate liberals. That's why I'm a centrist (slightly left leaning, but I'm sure you'll disagree with that)

Sorry, but where's the evidence that he's "leftist" anyway? That he read the Communist Manifesto? So have about half the Humanities, English Lit and Politics students in the world.. He also read Mein Kampf, which I reckon slightly cancels that out imo.. Unless you think Hitler was left-leaning, like most American conservatives seem to...

Well, Hitler was left-leaning in an economic sense - not at all in a social sense, but it's a dichotomy most of them tend to overlook.

Hitler is a good example of the circle that is politics. Certain extreme left policies aren't all that different from extreme right policies...

Only really in the sense of nationalising industry and State ownership...... Apart from that the likes of Castro, Chavez or Morales, have fukk-all in common with Hitler.....
