Listening now, I Wanna Go and How I Roll are the standouts for me so far. Inside Out is also better in full then the snippet suggested. Nice bit of dubstep sound in Seal It With a Kiss as well.

It really is, it was my favourite from all the clips and the full song exceeded my expectations.

never thought i would be saying this considering who the song was produced by but i am loving "the big fat bass". I only picked up on the double meaning after some people on breatheheavy were talking about it :lol: :lol: :lol:

I've only had 1 listen to the album as a whole so far, and I can safely say I think FF is her best album by Farrrrrrrrr!

I've only really liked Brits singles, for me she's never been much of an album artist until now.

Deffo her best work.

I was pleasantly surprised by Big Fat Bass, I thought it was awful after the snippet, but I really liked the full song in the end. My initial impression is that the album overall is very strong, and I went in thinking it was going to be dull, as everything we heard about the album and the latter snippets suggested that most of the tracks were going to be filler, generic club bangers. So glad that the only song that fell into that trap was Drop Dead Beautiful (and maybe Gasoline) which is a painfully average song. I fear however that it won't hold up to repeat listens as it isn't as diverse in style as say Rihanna's Loud, I guess I'll have to see. Rate time after one listen.

 

1) How I Roll - Second listen and it is just such a killer track. The melody, production. Amazing. There's quite a melancholy edge to the backing music at points too.

2) I Wanna Go - Not as much of a smash as the snippet suggested, maybe my expectations were too high. Clearly should be the third single though.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Circus leak around the same time? And that managed 500k+ in the US in its first week.

I don't think leaking would affect the album THAT much. People will download it illegally no matter when an album leaks... and many will still buy regardless. Plus, we don't have the 4 deluxe tracks.
